I can't remember RBs original description of the man Marion took to pick up the tea chests at RBs. But earlier today he said it was a short man. And just now he said he had a big build and was possibly Indonesian. So now he's suggesting he was a Balinese Pilot.

This is new and interesting... sort of linking Marion to Bali. I don't think this link was ever implied before.

Yes they did but they are trying to see if his memory is the same

This time he said the man was very big and a pilot just like last time although a bit earlier on he told them he was a short man.

Yea they were asking him earlier about Marion visiting his house and he said there was someone short who delivered the boxes but Marion wasn’t there.

I have a memory of RB originally describing the 'pilot or man in uniform' as having similar dimensions and colouring as himself. At the time I thought the reasoning might in case there were any witnesses who saw he and Marion together, then he could say 'it wasn't me, it was the pilot'. So, yes, he is changing the description willy nilly of this very important figure who allegedly ran off with Marion. Also remember that 'the man in the car with Marion' was tall, and Sally was confused into suggesting to the court that the man 'was dark'.
