At a brief hearing on Wednesday for Marcus Stanford, brother of accused killer Vincent Stanford, the court heard there were “difficulties” in holding the brothers together.

Magistrate Thompson was told the brothers’ cases could, however, be heard concurrently in future.

( there may be more news about this aspect of the case tomorrow.. perhaps one of the brothers will be shifted to another region.. or the South Au brother, Marcus will have a special hearing which either sorts his stuff out or dismisses it. ( I doubt a dismissal , though) ... there was no date given for the next hearing re either brother today.

That is such a thing to do.

Ugh.
Yep, sends chills down my spine. I don't know... to me it's one step worse than disposing of the items.
Pawning the items... it's like another layer of disrespect to this whole thing. It just makes me feel dreadful.

Marcus Stanford appears in Griffith Local Court
July 29, 2015.
During a brief mention at Griffith Local Court on Wednesday, Magistrate Thompson asked if there was any reason Vincent and Marcus Stanford’s cases could not be heard concurrently when the time came for the trial, as they were “co-accused”. No reason the two could not appear at trial together in future. The “vast majority” of the brief has already been served. Both cases are scheduled together for September 30th 2015. Both remain in custody.
