reading some earlier interesting postings on here from thread 24.......hope the link works
A Benaroon Drive resident said his wife drove out of the street, which William's grandmother no longer lives in, one minute before William disappeared.

It was 26 or 28 minutes to 11am, he remembered with minute detail.

"She never saw a car or noticed anything strange," he said.

The man spent the next day with a pool net in hand searching through a dam and waterholes, anxious about what he might find.

I think this is the Wilson's. I posted a link yesterday.

I was wondering the same thing, thinking it was an error, but then I realized that a different reporter said something similar, but yet didn't we hear that she remembered about the 2 cars on her way back from the airport on the day he disappeared, and immediately told police when she arrived back at FGM's house? Call me confused.

This is an article written by Lia Harris:
"She spoke of two unidentified cars she spotted parked across the road from her mother’s house on the morning of his disappearance, which she did not recall until several days later."
Court Shown Heartbreaking Video From Scene Of William Tyrrell's Disappearance

Yes early reports had us all thinking she went to the airport the evening of the first day of the search. It actually sits much better that she went to the airport days later as it was quite unbelievable that she would leave the search area on day 1 in a distressed state. It feels like we are starting almost from ground zero with not only new information but also a lot of corrected information. Each day the picture is becoming clearer.

Was it a planned abduction?
Was it a ‘blow in’?
Was it a neighbour?

If this is harrowing for us can you imagine what the poor families are going through.

Not a neighbour in my opinion. All neighbours have been identified.

Foster Mother stated in 60 Minutes doc she drove to the airport on the night of William's disappearance.

William’s foster father has taken the stand. Telling the court the family went to Kendall regularly and he had ridden a trail bike around the scrub area surrounding Benaroon Drive “extensively”. @10Daily @10NewsFirst

Foster Mother said in previous media interview the children had not visited since the grandfather's death in February. We know he died in mid February 2014. I am starting to doubt reporting accuracy as I don't think a 7 months gap in lead up to 12 September could be seen as ...regular. maybe regular before gramp's death.

I think we will find that there were many errors in reporting over the last 4.5 years.

So at 10.40 when FM spoke to AMS for the 1st time, FF was calling out for WT round the back of the FGM's house already? If that is the case, we have had our timelines wrong!!!!!!!!!
Yes, something is definitely wrong witht he timelines, because ... well, if it can be trusted.. in that article that I and FromGermany posted upthread, it is said that the coroner's counsel (Crannock? sorry, I am horrible with names!!) said FM saw the car turned around at about 10:30am (WT was not yet missing), and minutes later she discovered he was missing, (FD was not yet back at the house, because she asked him when he returned, if W was with him)... I guess it doesn't specify what time FD returned?

"She also has “a distinct recollection” of seeing another car drive up to 52 Benaroon Drive, then reverse and disappear, Mr Craddock said.

The time was “close to 10.30am. William was playing a game pretending to be a daddy tiger."

Minutes later, the foster mother “had just finished her tea and … she noticed it had “become quiet, too quiet”.

At 10.56am, the foster mother dialled triple-0.
....
But in the case of William, he was reported missing after about 20 minutes and the first policeman arrived on the scene by 11.06am.

But I think absolute accuracy should be the norm when reporters are sitting and hearing matters live!

That would surprise me, as it is not a very popularly coloured vehicle here.

I didn't at first realise you wrote "not" common. It seems very familiar to me - the colour, in older cars. I don't know if there's anyway to check....?

Does this sound like there was talk of the kids going with FF for the telephone conference?

She (FM) said on the morning of September 12, 2014, her husband had become “frustrated” with the children being noisy.
“I remember saying ‘you just take care of yourself and I will take care of them’.”
The foster father had a telephone conference meeting that required “a bit of quiet and a decent internet connection”, and that would be difficult driving with “children in the back”.
I think she meant if they drove up on friday morning, as planned... ?
