William Tyrrell: ‘One million reasons’ to come forward over toddler’s abduction
    7:29pm September 12, 2016

A $1 million reward, the largest in New South Wales history, has been announced for information that leads to the arrest of the person who abducted missing toddler William Tyrrell, or for the boy’s safe return or recovery.

William, then aged three, went missing from the backyard of his grandmother’s home in Kendall, on the state's mid-north coast, on September 12, 2014.

    [...]

"You’re in a much better position if you come to us than if we come to you."

Det. Insp. Jubelin also said the investigation was "a long way" from going to a coronial inquest, and that police did not believe William's family were involved.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT IS WRITTEN BELOW. YOU MUST FOLLOW WHAT IS OUTLINED OR YOU WILL BE TIMED OUT OR BANNED!!!!

Thanks to DrSleuth for your help in writing up the information needed for the discussion.

Here is what we can and cannot discuss.

No identifying the biological family, the foster family or any associates ( ie siblings, etc ) or their addresses, places of employment or childcare, etc

They can be identified as bio mother etc & female foster carer etc

At the inquest, they are known as biological mother & father. Foster family are known as FFC ( female foster carer ) MFC ( male foster carer ) FFGM ( female foster grandmother ) etc
    REMEMBER THE ABOVE PEOPLE
CANNOT BE IDENTIFIED USING THEIR INITIALS.

Prior to the coronial inquest, the bio families could be identified, but it was overturned by the coroner for the inquest.

Please continue discussing William's case here.

Thread reply bans are in place for members who have made personal attacks against other members and for members who insinuate the foster family either have involvement or are covering up.

Laura Beacroft probably wasn't the person who should have been asked about the clear line of sight - in a photo that was stuck in front of her face.
I think some of these questions need to be directed at Laidlaw, when he gets on the stand.

And if he flounders, maybe they will think about asking the person who knows ... Jubes.

We have even found what looks like a clear line of sight, ourselves, without even visiting the property.

    Re BS trial.

We’re for Sydney | Daily Telegraph

Mr O’Brien told the court that the accusations which Spedding now faces have been previously investigated and Mr Spedding was cleared.

"The Crown case is not a strong one," Mr O'Brien.

Mr O'Brien said the allegations were made amid "a hothouse of suspicion" and "sinister overtones", and that there was "an atmosphere" of "coaching and tutoring" the young girls that Spedding was "a naughty man who did bad things."

A concerted effort (was made) to have allegations this man is a sexual molester of children," Mr O'Brien said.

"(There is evidence) they have been tutored to say this man did it." Prosecutors have opposed bail.

The coroner has presumably visited the site - I think I saw some footage with Jubelin.

I don’t get why they are labouring this point.
There IS potentially line of sight. One property does have a view of the other. We don’t know if PS may have had binoculars to watch goings on?

He seemed very interested in Williams behaviour at the Xmas party - describing him as ‘following’ the FD around.

In my experience at those types of events
elderly men are often engrossed in conversation with other adults and don’t pay too much attention to the rug rats unless directly introduced to them.

How many of us when asked would remember what small child barely known to us was doing at a Xmas party 9 months before?

If Jubes is suss on this guy then it’s cause he’s given him a reason. He’s possibly even said something to Jubelin when the conversation wasn’t being recorded - and in an attempt to catch him out, Jubes recorded some further conversations.

    IMO.

Yes, I thought that was strange, too. The way Savage commented about William adoring his FD and following him around.

It does sound as if Savage has changed his story. Maybe he changed it with Jubes as well?

In his statement he spoke of first going across to the opposite side of the road from FGM's place (presumably the wooded lot across from FGM where there is now a house) to look for William.
At the inquest he spoke of first going up the hill. I recall him also saying about going up the hill, in the media, a long time ago.

In his statement he said nothing about hearing from FGM that a cup of tea was made, and then William was discovered missing.
At the inquest he spoke of FGM telling him those details, that morning.

A Kendall resident's initial account to police of what happened on the day William Tyrrell disappeared, differs to what a coronial inquest heard on Tuesday.
Neighbour's recollection of events questioned at Tyrrell inquest

it does seem strange hes noticed and mentioned several things about william and makes him look suss but maybe its because he knew they were foster children and special so was curious about them and their relationship with the ff and noticed little things, i would possibly take a discreet interest of how a ff related to children in their care and if the children were happy or yelled at etc so it could just be that, or because william was such a gorgeous little boy full of life and excitement?

    Apologize again....

Just a fly in n out as I haven't been able to follow this on a daily basis...so my random comment may be out of context of current discussion.

Just read some transcript of the proceddings that a Mr Gordon Weilgold has given evidence to back up/collaborate that Mr Spedding was at the school assembly.

    My heart jumped!!

June 2015 I found a old internet search engine that showed facebook pages/friends lists.

Mr William Spedding and Mr Gordon Weilgold were previous friends - Prior to little William going missing. But not friends after.

Anyone can make of that info what they will....simply putting it out there.

The old search engine that I connected their association was called profileengine.com

It.. .the link no longer seems to work.

I have passed this info onto Carolyn Overton??? Think thats her name.

But if any of this rings bells for anyone...try n do you best to send it out there to anyone you think may be interested/connected.. to get it noticed.

You cant have only one person say you were there...if their friend.

Surely you need an unbiased..non friend/acquaintance to say you were there??

    Lia Harris‏Verified account @LiaJHarris 4h4 hours ago
Gerard Craddock SC tells the court checking the drains was “not a detail he gave police” during his interviews. “Is your memory a bit cloudy as to some of these aspects now?” he asked. Mr Savage said yes. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

The court is now being shown a map off the bushland around Benaroon Drive which Mr Savage has marked where he claimed to have walked while searching. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

    Lia Harris‏Verified account @LiaJHarris 4h4 hours ago
The court is now being shown the map of where Mr Savage does his morning walk, which is a much larger loop around the bushland. Craddock told the court his search route was “much smaller” than his usual walk. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

    Lia Harris‏Verified account @LiaJHarris 4h4 hours ago
Craddock SC asks how long he took to do that small loop while searching. He answered “he can’t remember” but thinks “at least half an hour to 45 minutes”. His much larger walking route normally takes him 2 hours. @10NewsFirst @10Daily
