She is probably going to get a community corrections order - such as supervision by Community Corrections Officers, community service work (up to 500 hours) and curfews. If the allegations are proven in court. Link

Magistrate Peter Feather's opinion is that ... ""it was not a strong prosecution case" ... "if the charges had been proven and he were to sentence the foster mother on Thursday, he would have convicted her and given her a community corrections order". Link

My own speculations -- some lolling in bed, then children underfoot, a lot of unmanaged noise and whirly activity .... plus Wm and the clothes wrangling -- which IMO may have contributed to or exacerbated some marital discord -- I hear passive-aggressive resentment in just about every statement made by the foster mother.

But yes, a very long time in Children Hours to keep children busy and presumably try to contain them quietly -- adult tension may have been exceptionally (and unnecessarily) high. You know, the kind that can snap a wooden spoon.

and wasnt there some annoying toilet, nappy issue with william that early morning too?

There was this diagram, but not sure it is the one you mean???

View attachment 418258

That driveway is very steep & there’s no closure at the end. I’d never let a 3 year old go down there on a bike - they’d be straight across the road ! IMO

Don't hate me.

Get up. Dressing. Argue with Wm over the costume. Odd detail to include about the singlet. Brain leak. Maybe something significant about his outfit. Did his outfit contribute to his death? Accidental strangulation? Distancing from responsibility? Wm's fault since he picked it? She's a good mom because singlet?

Play time on the patio. Photo before 8 am. Photo before foster father leaves.

Breakfast.
Biking. Tree. More time on the patio. Tea.

(Like I said, please don't hate me! The significance and timing of the photo really bothers me!)

Apropos photos:
I want to know, if FFC also made nice pics of the foster daughter, who at that time was in the grandma-house for the last time (before moving) just like the little brother W. It doesn't make any sense (to the contrary!), if FFC took only pics of little W, always in the foreground, sister L sitting behind with her head down.
If FFC took only pics of little W from every imaginable direction, even while crouching on the small staircase herself, then it has a special meaning, IMO. Red-blue spider man suit plus photos - don't tell me (you: FFC), it wasn't intentional and for a specific reason!
IF the whole scenery was designed, it isn't possible, IMO, that a sudden accident (deadly) happened minutes later. MOO

It was intentional and for a specific reason, which has been explained in at least one podcast. This is the reason ....

Sister L had also still training wheels on her bike, so she wasn't confident driving yet .....

It's at the end of a dead end street, there would be hardly any traffic, and with grass and shrubbery across the road at that time. Probably the safest place to ride their bikes in that neighbourhood.

And FM and FGM were out there with them.

How is changing a pair of pullups annoying? Little kids wet their pullups, and in the morning they need to get out of them because they are urine soaked and stinky.

I can't recall anywhere it being said that anyone was annoyed. I truly think the annoyance factor is something that has been dreamed up. Because some are searching for a reason that William disappeared, and there doesn't seem to really be one.

Changing pullups and not wanting a tshirt on are hardly reasons to get annoyed, parents just work their way through these things.

I'm thinking about, if some photos would be better made with clean clothing or after 2 children have fallen into a flower bed resp. bark mulch with their bikes .......

Annoying it was for MFC, because he didn't want to do the job and change the pullups. Of course, little W didn't disappear for this reason, I suppose.

William was 3½ years old. Perfectly capable of pulling down a pair of pullups and taking them off.
FD did not say he was annoyed. Somebody dreamed that up.

Allowing and encouraging a child to do reasonable things for themselves is how a parent teaches independence. Gradually prepares them for the years when they reach maturity and need to care for themselves.

As a child reaches each stage, their capabilities grow, and you let them do things for themselves.
No child is going to ever be independent if a parent doesn't incrementally pass tasks onto the child.

I haven’t seen that reported before? He said it was annoying and didn’t want to do the job?

Afaik, the MFC let little W himself do the job of changing and said to his boy, after changing the pullups he would be allowed to cuddle with his Papa.

Little William hopped out of the bed, took his pullups off - they are just like underpants - and got back into bed where they watched some kids shows on foster dad's mobile device. (I think as per a podcast)

I truly don't understand what the big deal is about that. Seems like a perfectly normal morning at grandma's house, to me.

That’s doesn’t include anything you said he said?

I think @FromGermany1 is referring to this … the article was linked just above

In the interview, the foster father describes waking up on the morning of the day William would go missing, Friday, September 12, 2014.

He said both he and William stirred inside the room they were sleeping in together at about 5.50am.

'He always wakes up and he says, oh, you know I've had an accident, you know, he wets his... because he still wears ... pull ups.

'But for some reason he always manages to fill them. And I said are you wet and all that sort of stuff and I said, okay well then you need to go , get up first and you need to get changed first okay and then we know and we can have a cuddle.

Hi SA - I’m probably going to be castigated for not having the proverbial ‘Link’
(maybe someone can help out) but it sticks in my mind that when the Inquest came to a rather sudden halt, it was said by ‘someone in authority‘ that a new witness has come forward, someone previously unknown / unspoken to and we will be investigating further - or words to that effect.

I’d wondered if that was what put FFC at the forefront of the suspects.

Can anyone else recall this ?
The sudden hault was due to Covid, nothing more, nothing less IMO. Some things were changed in court the day before from memory due to Covid precautions.

I think you'll find that this was the new witness, so nothing to do with the FFC.

A boy’s scream was heard coming from bushland near where Frank Abbott lived shortly after three-year-old William Tyrrell went missing in 2014, an inquest into his disappearance has heard.

Anna Baker said she was tending to strawberries on her Herons Creek property on the NSW mid-north coast in September 2014 when she heard a child scream.

Yes l already addressed this. It was stated as fact he was annoyed and didn’t want to change the nappy. As l already said it was an interpretation of what was said. I don’t interpret it that way at all.
