Found Deceased AZ - Benjamin Anderson, 41, Car found burned, Phoenix, 31 Dec 2021

MCSO served a search warrant at BA’s apartment today. Hopefully they found something that can help lead to the killers
They need to search Super 8 and any longer term residents of that dump. The reason I say that is the tight radius of vehicle pings and sightings and then burn out. It is only 1 mile back down I-17 to Super 8.

Thank You!

Super 8 should be canvassed for tall blonde with pink beanie and the others. Hopefully all this is in the file from Phoenix PD and will be turned over to Maricopa County Sheriffs Office.
Video in nearby drugstores need to be looked at, tall woman wearing beanie or hat buying hair dye.

Reporting has not said but I think we can assume it was found before sundown at about 5:20 or so. Ben's phone supposedly was off at 9:00am

Per MCSO's Facebook page (Log into Facebook | Facebook) by the time his body was discovered on 12/31, he had already been reported as a missing person. Assuming that the timeline from @KellyConQueso is accurate, MCSO must have found Ben's body after 7:30 P.M. on 12/31 (that's when his friends called Phoenix PD to report him missing) and before midnight.

I worked in the same field also with a big four firm and built compliance programs from the ground up. You would be surprised at how dangerous things can get for even mid-level management when it is burying a huge issue dealing with a corporation. Bad stuff does happen and those people don’t get caught. There are a lot of corporate lawyers but there are also corporate thugs.

I think this may be bad wording by PIO...they may mean prior to him being identified he had been reported missing. I find it hard to believe with no moon and desert terrain someone could spot him after about 6:00 unless he was laying right next to the road.

Ben Anderson, the deceased, was not employed in Ethics and Compliance; his friend DS, who publicized his disappearance and led the search for Ben, is in that field. Ben's job title was "Executive Concierge Manager" and he was employed by PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Huge difference in job title… but dealing with Execs? Same thought process/motive. Some guys you never want to piss off. Some top tier have god complexes.

I was trying to get an idea of the area so I searched that Super 8, and the reviews are astonishing! Unless he was drugged, on drugs, or forced, I could never imagine he would willingly step foot in a place like that. There are reviews posted weekly on many hotel sites. I wonder if someone saw something? After reading the reviews, in my opinion, Ben was probably never there. After disposing of his body, the murderer went to the Super 8 to 1.) either pick up friends/drugs or 2.) the car was stolen from there by the suspects that were seen driving the car.
I guess phone records/camera footage will determine if this was a random tragedy or a known contact.

“The friends decided to keep looking at hotels in the area and drove to the Sheraton on the other side of I-17. They went to the fourth level of the parking garage, where Stahoviak said he saw three people sitting at Anderson's car, none of whom were Anderson.

He described seeing a woman, approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall, with blonde hair and a bright pink beanie, standing on the passenger's side. There was a male of average height, with dark curly hair and light skin, either Latino or white, standing outside on the driver's side.”

Daily Beast, AZ Central, all the articles discuss the friends spotting the threesome at the car.

I keep getting interrupted while trying to catch up tonight on the cases I am following.

I think you have Ben confused with Daniel. AZ Central article lists Ben as an Executive Concierge Manager (what we used to call Executive Admin Manager back in my HR days). Top Tier Administrative/Secretarial position. Nothing to do with ethics or business standards compliance unless he was changing jobs. I thought I saw somewhere where his friend Daniel works in a compliance capacity. Please help me out as you are totally correct as being an important point moving forward with possible conflict issues with Ben. Thanks.

Thanks to my wife, from an AZ Family article interview with neighbors, I can now update more precisely that Benjamin's apt. building is most likely #725 E. Ocotillo Rd. It is an older smaller complex. It is not Alta Uptown Phoenix (my previous guess...WRONG AGAIN...ARRGGGHHH!) My map is still generally correct but I will update and re-link.
