For what its worth, the pocket knife seems to be an inexpensive "knock off" of the well known and more expensive designs from the Buck knife company. "Imitation is the best form of flattery".

Alot of inexpensive knives, including Buck knock offs are made in Pakistan and are commonly sold at swap meets, Biker events etc.

The knife blade on the knife locks into place, so its safer to use for real cutting, poking, light prying etc. Likewise, it appears to be that "happy medium" size wise where it is large enough for real use, but not too large to be cumbersome. It would make a good utility knife for a drifter.

I wish this contributed towards identifying the deceased more.
