Interestingly enough, there is a man named Bob Borton from INDIANA who served in WWII, who was considered missing in action in France. You have got to see this video, and this guys nose! I wonder if Robert Curtis Borton was a son or relative?

At this site, his sister feels that she saw him in the US on several occasions, and he was supposedly alive as of 1975 in Vietnam!!

This may be in interesting area to pursue--even IF his fingerprints were on file, it appears that the Gov was trying to erase HIM. He is originally from Missouri.

IMHO:
Not a match.
Ears are set lower than BK's.
BK's top of ears higher than eyebrows.

Interesting case though.
 
It might be the angle of the camera too. The camera looks to be angled below him and up.

I have a new mini notebook and I am becoming blind at this point, lol-are Borton's eyes blue?? What are his stats? Are there any photos of his immediate family available? I would love to compare them to BK....finally, I would think that his family would have him on the major databases as a missing person and perhaps have some DNA processed??? They would need it on file anyway to compare to any UID's who are located oversees....JMO....

Reading the story about the teeth-the family could send them for DNA testing at UT and I would think that would take care of any questions....
 
I do not think Mr Borton is Benjaman Kyle.
I have no idea if Mr Borton is alive or not, although I think the US still has
knowledge of some who are labeled missing or conveniently labeled dead.

IMO: Mr Borton should have his own thread.

I agree with you.

Mr. Borton's story is very interesting.
 
Websurfer, Borton resembles BK more than anyone I have yet to see.......the face shape is exact, strong padded jaws, the eye shape, downturned, the mouth is identical in it's expression, I wish someone could do an age progression on Borton. I wonder if the family could compare DNA between themselves and BK. I believe Borton is still alive, which means he would have had amnesia Before he came back to the States, maybe liberated many years later at a POW camp. I know he's from Michigan, sounds far-fetched, but........just wanted you to know I agree strongly with the resemblance, and maybe you should pursue it further, send the info/photo to Dr. Phil, or other resources.
It also might help explain why no one knows who he is - he looks older and completely different than the last time they saw him! Late 1960's would have been the last time his family saw him.

Height, Nose and chin doesnt match for me. Mr Kyle does not have a scar on his shoulder, but you raise an EXCELLENT point about the scar we have always assumed is a cervical discotomy scar....what if it isnt? It is at the base of his neck, not on his chest, but you have made me think and I thank you!!
 
Is anyone from VA here? If we can figure out what year Jason P. graduated from Lynchburg College, it might give us a middle initial for him which could prove helpful in tracking the right one down. If someone would be willing to look through a few yearbooks, it would be helpful. The local library in Lynchburg should have them on hand I'm guessing.

I'm thinking he and BK share enough similarities to warrant further investigation.
 
Don't think that's the same Jason. From the ASC website, I have that he graduated from Lynchburg College. He appears to be younger than the one you found, but great sleuthing anyhoo.
 
Seems to be two Jason Powells of about the same age... is there any significance to this guy other than the slight physical resemblance and the Powell surname?
