This schmuck has yet to be found. I found this on Facebook today circulating amongst friends/family, so thought I would share it here as to keep the forum warm. Some has already been stated, some is updated, but I am just copying and pasting the post as is, in case it is of any use to anyone here. Asheville, NC (March 10, 2023): A team of Asheville Police Department Officers and Detectives have identified and charged a Mars Hill man following the hit and run that claimed the life of a cyclist, James Shearon (02/06/1995.)
Further investigation revealed Calvin Tyler Dion (07/6/2001) operated the 2012 Honda Civic that struck Shearon, who was riding his bicycle near the 35 block of Grove Street, around 5:05 p.m. on March 1. The Honda Civic was later located in a nearby parking lot. Thank you to the numerous witnesses from the Asheville community that came forward to support the investigation.
Upon completion of the investigation and cooperation with the State Medical Examiners' Office, criminal charges were brought forth on Calvin Tyler Dion for Felony Hit and Run, Reckless Driving, 2nd Degree Murder, Speeding, and Failure to Reduce Speed.
The Asheville Police are asking for the public's help in locating Dion, who is described as a 21-year-old white male, 6'1", 170 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. His tattoos include "NEVER FORGET" on his left hand, a unique tattoo covering on his right hand, a pentagram on his chest, and a pierced tongue. Dion is believed to be hiding in Madison County or Mooresville, NC.

The cyclist, James Shearon (02/06/1995), succumbed to his injuries on March 8; next of kin has been notified.

Asheville, NC (Mar. 2, 2023): Asheville Police Officers continue their investigation into a recent hit and run that sent a cyclist to the hospital and ask the public’s help with information about the incident and identification of a vehicle involved.
APD Patrol Officers responded to a report of a cyclist who had been struck by a vehicle around the 35 block of Grove Street around 5:05 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1. The cyclist was transported to Mission Hospital by Buncombe County EMS, where he remains in critical condition. No suspect vehicle was located.
Through their investigation, Officers have surveillance images of a vehicle they believe might be involved in the incident, possibly a blue Toyota sedan. Officers are asking if anyone has any information about the vehicle or the crash to contact APD.

"ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The Asheville Police Department says the twin brother of a man arrested and charged in a fatal hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a cyclist back in March has now been arrested and charged as an accessory to the crime.

Authorities say, Allen Blayze Dion, 22, of Mars Hill, was taken into custody on Thursday, July 27, at around 4:30 p.m. and charged with felony accessory after the fact in the death of 28-year-old James Shearon."
