China reports a third human case of the H3N8 strain of bird flu

  • A 56-year-old woman in Zhongshan tested positive for the virus after being exposed to live poultry
  • Health authorities haven’t confirmed how she became infected but say the risk of transmission is low

Hi, Flagging, I think there’s an error in the title edit, This isn’t the first bird flu case in a human ever reported, just in Chile. :).

DANG!

One of my superpowers is contracting a 'flu virus that wasn't included in the immunization that year!

Hope to avoid this one, that's for sure.

Lol, I was confused reading the title as I went to Hong Kong in 2015, and there were a LOT of posters in public parks warning about the potential for humans to contract bird flu. Seeing it was in Chile makes it make more sense...
I hope it doesn't become more widespread.
