Jurors in Stamford, Connecticut, have convicted Michelle Troconis, 49, of helping her boyfriend, Fotis Dulos, 52, plot and cover up the murder of his estranged wife, Jennifer Farber Dulos, 50, amid a contentious divorce. Prosecutors said she aided in establishing an alibi and discard evidence.

A new motion filed by Brooks Houck’s attorneys claim Houck is being subjected to “intense public scorn” after his brother Nick Houck was tied to Tommy Ballard’s murder during a court hearing in October of 2023.

 
DELPHI, Ind. — Delphi murder suspect Richard Allen's trial now begins May 13 — a full five months earlier than his previously scheduled October trial date.

On March 6, Allen's attorneys filed for an earlier trial date. On March 7, Special Judge Frances Gull granted that motion with a signed order that was published Monday.

GREEN BAY (WLUK) – Richard Sotka was convicted Monday of two counts of first-degree intentional homicide for the deaths of Rhonda Cegelski and Paula O'Connor at a Green Bay home in Jan. 2023.

The jury deliberated about an hour before returning the verdicts. It asked a single question during deliberations, requesting to see one piece of evidence.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 20. Sotka faces two mandatory life prison terms, but Judge Beau Liegeois can choose to set a date Sotka could first ask for parole, or decide he would never be eligible for release.
 
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Court TV) — A Tennessee mother has been found guilty of all charges in the shooting death of her 5-year-old daughter.

Robin Howington was convicted of six charges, including reckless homicide, in the Sept. 2019 death of Destiny Oliver. Court documents obtained by Court TV and testimony at trial detailed how Howington told authoritiesseveral different versions of what happened, including blaming an unknown intruder, Oliver’s biological father and lastly claiming her two-year-old son shot his sister by mistake.

Sentencing is scheduled for April 19. Howington faces a minimum of 15-25 years in prison.

Daniel Howard trial has concluded. He was found guilty of one count of domestic battery and one count of murder of the second degree.

Check the bottle before you sprinkle any cinnamon on your toast.

There’s a recall on some brands of cinnamon that have been found to contain elevated levels of lead and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) are urging Michigan families to stop using them.

“There is no safe level of lead in the body for any person, and lead is particularly harmful to pregnant individuals,” said Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian, chief medical executive in Monday’s news release. “If you are concerned about your child’s exposure to lead, please talk to your health care provider about blood lead testing.”
 

Body of Dylan Rounds found in remote Utah desert, family says​
