Awesome! I will update what you posted and try to get it in here this evening. With you updating TX and me doing LA, we should be able to get a lot of information put together. That will make it easier to follow when people eventually migrate over here. I was thinking of adding MIssissippi at some point. I wish we knew more about when he entered service and where he was stationed/deployed/went TDY and the times associated with those.
All I know is Ft Polk in June/July 1999
~ per Ft Polk.

"The warrant is still active for simple battery that was filed February 8 of 2000," said Lisa Boudreaux, Opelousas Deputy Clerk of Court. "The next step is for the judge to sign the transportation order to have him transferred over here for prosecution."
Lavergne was arrested on the warrant for simple battery on February 9, 2000. He was then released 12 hours later to Fort Polk where he was stationed at the time. The next day, he was booked into jail in Evangeline Parish in connection with an aggravated oral sexual battery charge. He would end up serving eight years.

katc has some of those details. Perfect timing!

Can we all agree he was in custody from February 9, 2000 continuously at one of these 4 agencies until his release August 9, 2008?
Based on his age, I think it is safe to say that Ft Polk was his first duty station. BCT is 10 weeks and AIT is 6-52 weeks. The location of his BCT and AIT would depend on his MOS. I am going to do some digging and see if I can narrow down the base options. Then see if I can piece together an estimated time line. I noticed someone talking about his discharge and will pick someone's brain on the process as well. Oh, the dates of incarceration look good to me. Have you seen any other dates he was processed in and out of the system as he was charged? Crimes associtated with the base(s) may not be public, but, I have someone who can give me insight to tht process as well.
As early as April 1999 for Fort Polk per the incident report on his aggravated oral sexual battery charge.
His DOB is 1-18-1979 http://www.icrimewatch.net/offenderdetails.php?OfndrID=1417897&AgencyID=54450
so his 18th birthday would have been 1-18-1997. We should not be able to find anything prior to that date for his timeline but not necessarily a date to stop looking for potential victims. Although, I'm not up on serial killer trends to know if they also kill as a juvenile.

I can'tfind them posted on the public search sites I have done.I added more to my spread sheet and will post when the kids are napping tomorrow. In the mean time, I was thinking about BSL's penchant for arson and sexual assault. Is there a searchable database with public access for either of these? I know there is an arson database, but, I do not think it is made public. If you know a link for any of these please share!

my searches show 0 murders since 2002
and 0 arsons since 2002
funny thing a fire fighter in CP was arrested... 3 counts of arson.
There is a story about a woman found dead and dragged out of a house on
fire.

Maybe you will have more luck!
not unless he got off I-10 at Orleans. Does it give her precise start point & route? It's hard for me to imagine anyone doing that know now.Kamanthe Landry - 38

Agreed. I can't see BSL finding his way to the Bywater. He'd stick out like a sore thumb. If he did make his way down there, I think he'd be in a big hurry to find his way out. I sure would like to see Jessica's murder solved, though. It's Bywater. I don't know about you, Bessie, but Bywater is mostly locals, many in arts, alternative lifestyles, neo-hippies. That seems way out of his zone. Don't that he'd even know it existed.

BTW, I updated the info on BSL's incarceration in the OP. I'd love to know if he was actually behind bars the entire eight years. I have a long list of missing/murdered in Texas, but the dates don't fit his timeline.
My list has about 130 names ranging from 1971-2011. It's information I compiled when we were putting together the I-45 forum. Thanks! If he was released outside of that would it be noted in the system? Has it ever been reported that he was part of a work release and if so where? I am finding alot of interesting missing/murdered in Louisiana that do not fit the time either. What dates are you using to do your search? The inspectors were here yesterday so I was not able to work on it like I wanted to and I was just mentally drained last night. Hopefully I will figure the uploading a table thing out today!
ETA: apparently I am not making complete sentances today. Had to go back and edit.
