charged (11/3/21) & arraigned (4/1/22) with 7 counts of committing a 'lewd & lascivious act on a child' & 6 counts of torture (did willfully & unlawfully inflict cruel & inhuman corporal punishment & injury resulting in a traumatic condition upon a child, to wit, Jane Doe (J. P.)). Plead not guilty. Bond $100K. Out on bond (4/1/22). Riverside County
*Rosa Armida Olguin (58/now 60) aka Rosa Valenzulea & Rosa Armida Olgin arrested (1/1/21),
charged (11/3/21) & arraigned (4/1/22) with 4 counts did willfully & unlawfully, under circumstances & conditions likely to produce great bodily harm & death, cause & permit a child, Jane Doe (J. P.), to suffer & inflicted thereon unjustifiable physical pain & mental suffering & having the care & custody of said child, did willfully cause & permit the person & health of said child to be injured & 1 count did willfully cause & permit said child to be placed in such a situation that their person & health was endangered & 2 counts did willfully & unlawfully, by violence, menace, fraud & deceit, violate the personal liberty of Jane Doe (J. P.) & 2 counts did willfully, unlawfully, knowingly & maliciously prevent & dissuade a witness, to wit, Jane Doe (J. charged (11/3/21) & arraigned (4/1/22) with 4 counts did willfully & unlawfully, under circumstances & conditions likely to produce great bodily harm & death, cause & permit a child, Jane Doe (J. 9/12/24 Update: Preliminary hearings for all was continued on 9/19/24 @ 8:30am. 9/19/24 Update: The three members of a Perris foster family accused of abusing children in their care, including several of the Turpin children who previously endured years of torture & neglect at the hands of their parents, pleaded guilty to felony charges in Superior Court in Riverside on Thursday, Sept. 19. Marcelino Olguin pleaded guilty to four counts of lewd acts on a child 14 or 15 years old, with the defendant being at least 10 years older; three counts of lewd acts on a child younger than 14; one count of false imprisonment; and one count of injuring a child. Olguin will serve seven years in state prison after he is sentenced & will be required to register with the state as a sex offender, his attorney, Paul Grech, said on Thursday. Olguin’s wife, Rosa & their daughter, Lennys, also entered guilty pleas. Both admitted to three counts of willful child cruelty & one count each of false imprisonment & intimidating a witness. Rosa Olguin also pleaded guilty to grand theft. They both face sentences of four years of probation & a four-year suspended sentence. Lennys Olguin will also be sentenced to 150 days in the sheriff’s work-release program; Rosa Olguin faces 120 days in the work-release program. All three are scheduled to be sentenced on 10/18/24.
