Thanks so much all, for doing all that transcribing!! What a lot of work!

Sheesh, why isnt that atty of the Anthony's telling them to keep their traps shut? They do 'ABSOLUTELY' nothing but spin spin spin, and circle around the truth. It's sickening, but hopefully will be ending soon...I cant take much more of these folks.
 
Hmm! Casey tried to help the investigation since day ONE but they were INTERROGATING her! They wouldn't listen to the truth! She needs 4 hours a day (by Cindy's calculations) to go over the NONSENSE in the docs with her lawyer! The clearing out of her best friends' funds had no bearing on Caylee being missing. There was no fight that night!

Holy cow I thought I had a stroke like poor George. Watching that was a waste, a Huge Waste. Are we being punked? It's too much.
 
The biggest thing I took from that interview was that she won't talk to KC about what happened because she know's that anything she is told is going to be bad. She knows the real answer isn't something that she can deal with. She grabs on to criticisms of the investigators so that she can discredit everything that they've told her. I think she is going to be mentally destroyed whether Caylee's little body is found or if she searches for the rest of her life. That interview was extremely disturbing.

I completely agree with you. But I took what she said as she didn't want to 'know the details' of exactly what KC was doing during those times (maybe being an escort or some sort of illegal activity) and it didn't have to do with Caylee so she just didn't want to know. Of course she is going by what KC told her so we know it must not be the truth.

thank you for this - I dont normally watch the vids (between these people making me feel nauseated and my toddler joyfully ripping keys from my laptop when a video plays :biglaugh:) but after reading these I did watch this one....god, these people are drowning in the nile, arent they? and the worst thing is, they know they are not telling the truth! its not even real denial!

Here's the part just before what Stark transcribed -- when the reporter just asked how the Anthonys were feeling.

Well, you know, it hasn't been a good day for the Anthonys for a long time. Um, you know . . . we've been prepared for this for a long time. We've known, from the way . . . um, when they first put all the disclosure out there, where it was headed. I mean, that . . . you know, the first time they released those 400 plus documents, we knew, you know, what they were doing. I knew what they were doing at the bond hearing. Um, it's . . . they . . . you know, the sheriff's department has made no, um, secret that they're trying to, um, you know, prosecute Casey in the public eye. And that's what . . . that's what they've done.

I think it's just ridiculous at this point, um, you know, number one, for anything to be leaked out. We shouldn't be knowing that this is going on tomorrow. Um, you know, Grand Jury hearings are supposed to be private. They're supposed to be, um, not. . . they're not supposed to be public knowledge. You're not supposed to know who's gonna be a witness. You're not supposed to know who's going to be .. . who they're going to discuss. So that just goes to show that there's a leak somewhere high up that shouldn't be happening.
 
It's so telling that her answer to everything is WE ARENT WORRIED, IT IS ALL CIRCUMSTANTIAL.

no one honest would ever say that. they would say "hail yeah we're worried, cause we didnt do anything and something is wrong here!" for one thing.
 
This rambling interview by Cindy sums up everything as to why Casey is the way she is, and why Casey believes she can get away with anything.

If I had a mother like this growing up, I am not sure how I would handle this. Casey could get away with anything she wanted, or run away because Cindy is so incredibly controlling. Is there anyone here that can understand this relationship?

Cindy's statements are so ludricous, I can barely comprehend it, none-the-less, understand it. I can actually find some pity, sorrow, and understanding for Casey (and why she turned out the way she did). She lived with this all of her life. I am outraged from listening to Cindy for 3 months. How does Casey feel after having to put up with this for 20+ years?

Casey never had a chance to understand how she was as an individual. Not a chance to know how she was as a person.

Cindy is unstoppable. How do you remove this woman from your life? Take away what she values most?

There are so many emotions going through my head right now. I am outraged, I am sad, I feel sorry for this family, I am disgusted.

Casey has not spoken a word to us, but Cindy has. Over and over and over again. I cannot even listen to anything Cindy has to say anymore. No wonder Casey had to escape.

It's ABSURD that Casey is getting tried in the media, it's ABSURD she is being used as a political ploy, it's ABSURD that people are fighting wars and Casey isn't getting justice. :eek:

What do the Marines, or any other military branch have to do with Casey, except for past hookups?

What does that politician that Cindy mentioned have to do with getting a Grand Jury to look at her case?

If LE isn't following up on tips about Caylee, why aren't the Anthonys? I would be if it took my last dollar, and then some.

She was in her glory with this interview. Can't wait to see the show she puts on if Casey gets executed for killing Cindy's GRANDDAUGHTER. Does she even think about poor Caylee and that it's CASEY who won't come clean?

Cindy, it's about CAYLEE, not you, not your lying daughter. It's about justice for CAYLEE.

Prosecutors today are expected to present the case against Casey Anthony -- the mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee Marie -- to members of a grand jury who will decide whether she will face more serious charges, possibly murder.

The 22-year-old mother is the main suspect in the disappearance of her daughter, who was reported missing July 15. She told detectives that she last saw Caylee in mid-June when she left the girl with a baby sitter. When Anthony returned later, both Caylee and the baby sitter were gone, she said. Authorities have not been able to find the nanny, and they question whether she exists.

Anthony is currently charged with child neglect, filing a false statement with law enforcement and check fraud.

For the grand jury, State Attorney Lawson Lamar and an assistant state attorney will question witnesses as part of the closed-door proceeding
 
Anthony's father, George Anthony, is expected to be one of the witnesses, a source said. Typically, detectives are called to speak before the grand jury.

How does a grand jury work?

People who have drivers licenses or state identification cards are selected at random to serve on grand juries.

They are allowed to ask witnesses questions and, if needed, ask to hear from specific witnesses. However, the state cannot force Casey Anthony to testify if she doesn't volunteer, and prosecutors must also question any witnesses who can offer evidence that could clear Anthony.

The state has to prove only probable cause to charge Anthony with a crime. Proving a case beyond a reasonable doubt is the standard for a criminal trial.

Is the grand jury open to the public?

No. What happens before a grand jury is secret. By law, witnesses, jurors and prosecutors are not allowed to talk about testimony. If they do, they may be held in contempt of court.

The media is not allowed in the grand jury proceedings. This is to ensure the witnesses and jurors are free from outside pressures.
 
However, participants can speak about the proceeding once the grand jury makes a decision.

What could happen?

After witnesses are questioned and evidence is presented, the jurors will talk about what they heard and will make a decision. It takes only 12 jurors to agree when deciding what to do.

The jury could opt for a lesser degree of murder, such as manslaughter.

They can issue a "true bill," which becomes an indictment once it's filed with the court. The indictment remains sealed to the public until authorities take the defendant into custody, which could happen the same day.

If jurors agree there isn't enough evidence, they can issue a "no-true bill," which means no indictment.

What happens after a no-true bill?

Prosecutors can opt to present the case again.

There is no statute of limitations for murder charges, so the state can pursue them at any time.

I am starting to wonder if Caylee is in a better place. I would much rather she be alive, but what chance in life did she have with Casey as her mother and Cindy as her GM. Cindy has totally lost it. Anyone in the way of Casey's innocents will be blamed.
 
Every time she says "you know" we know a lie is going to follow.
Every time she says "from day one" we know everyone and anyone except KC is going to get bashed.

Can you just picture her in the witness box?? The prosecutors trying to question her? I hope they ram it home with hard questions about this nanny, about the arguement on the 15th, & cleaning out the car! Oh this is a prosecutors dream witness, catch her lying under oath?

Oh I forgot Cindy said it wasnt illegal to lie to Police :waitasec:
I wonder if she thinks she can lie about things under oath?
