Sunday March 16, 2014 Male Remains Found Near Gorman
Gorman is only 30 miles up Hwy. 5 from Castaic Lake. This is sad all the way around, but I'm hoping this is not Bryce Laspisa.

We contacted the Sergeant earlier today. He has been in contact with the coroners office but it will take time to determine identity. These remains may be a couple years old. We continue to pray this is not Bryce. Mom

Remains are thought to have been there up to four years. Bob Harrod will have been missing five years July 27th, 2014.

Oh, dear. I hope it's not Bryce. This must be agonizing for his parents.

There is another missing person very, very close to where the body I linked before was found. Last seen off the same highway 138 where the remains where found in fact. Missing since 2011 and police suspect foul play. I feel sure this is not Bryce.

April 4th, LA County Coroner still working to ID Gorman remains using dentals and DNA from bone to match with missing people. They expect results to take 14 days, so perhaps something by next week?

It is now nearly eight months w/o a word from / confirmed sighting of this young man.
Sweet Linnea was found in about three months.
Both cases painful to watch unfold.
Praying for resolution here and peace for the family.

Fisherman reporting Lake Castaic levels are really low at the moment. I wish a SAR/diver team could take advantage, and conduct another search for Bryce.

It has been one year since Bryce Laspisa was reported missing.

Instead of a vigil Bryce's family is asking people to a random act of kindness in Bryce's name.
