VAN SUSTEREN: All right. Now, the video that you do have of her leaving the casino — how far can you see the two of them walk together?

MALIM: They go into the parking lot probably about 50 yards or so, and then because it's nighttime and the incoming cars and the cars moving around, as well as the diffuse lighting in the parking lot, they kind of disappear. And we haven't been able to determine, at this point, if she had gotten in the car with him or what direction she went in.

VAN SUSTEREN: And this is about 1:30, is that right, sir?

MALIM: About 1:15 on Wednesday morning.

MALIM: At this point in the investigation, we believe that, no, they do not know each other, and it appears from the video that they met each other at the casino that night.

MALIM: We have done that, yes.

VAN SUSTEREN: Anything peculiar, sir?

MALIM: Nothing right now. Obviously, the stuff is getting sent to the crime lab to evaluate.

He mentions nothing peculiar yet "stuff" is getting sent to the crime lab for evaluation. Wonder what they sent to test thats suspicious enough to send for testing yet not peculiar....

i think she probably got in his car either on her own or by force, because they said her car was still in the parking lot the next day

MALIM: No. They just walked out towards where his car was parked, and that at that point, he didn't see her again. She said she forgot something in the casino and went in. And that's the last he saw of her. He went home.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right. Did the video show her going back into — the video, the surveillance video, to corroborate his statement that she said that she had something to go back into the casino for?

MALIM: At this point, no, we haven't been able to locate any of that. And we do have video of her car also, and she is never seen going to her car. And it sits there until her boyfriend discovers it on Thursday.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right. So it's pretty plain she didn't get into her car and drive off, if her car is there.

So this guy makes up some story about her forgetting something and going back in the casino which is not seen on tape and it would be there if she had indeed reentered.

Her car is on tape and she's not seen going near it......

He's got a half baked alibi cause his wife says he was home before daylight (basically) and a black eye to boot that he won't share with LE in how he got it.

He's become uncooperative after something was taken from his vehicle and sent for forensic testing.....

Oh, and wasn't he identified and then located from the surveillance tape?

She wasn't by herself. She was with her boyfriend. He left because she said she forgot something inside. Even if she was by herself, I wouldn't find it unusual at all. I would think a casino is generally safe, security guards, cameras, lots of people around. I never went to a casino by myself, but I have gambled by myself, and never felt unsafe.

This is what I think happened, but this is just speculation. I think, that she may have known him from the casino. If you are a regular at a casino, you generally get to know the other regulars. I don't know if he was a regular or not, like I said I'm just speculating. So, she walked out with him, thinking she was safe, because she "knew" him. I'm thinking he may have wanted "more" from her and she was unwilling, and this is where it went bad, would explain the black eye. I hope she is still alive, but I have a feeling she is not.

I thought I had read somewhere that her boyfriend was at his dad's house (I think am not sure) and she hadn't wanted to go with him. That she called him later about 10:30 to tell him she was going to the casino.

:waitasec: I'm pretty sure I heard that he was there with her, maybe I'm the one getting confused. I was confused when I first heard this story, because I kept hearing boyfriend, and then I heard about the other man. Let me see if I can find something that states where the boyfriend was. Also, I did hear that the boyfriend is not a suspect.

Wilson was last seen on the evening of Oct. 4 by her boyfriend, Daniel Burlando, while she was visiting and staying at his home in Sacramento. He is not considered a suspect or person of interest. Burlando says he got a voicemail from Wilson on Oct. 4 to let him know that she would be out that night at the casino. And he didn't worry when she didn't return on Oct. 5 because according to Burlando, Wilson would on occasion stay out all night.

To harm someone you met at a casino seems really stupid since there have been so many documentaries showing how they have so many security cameras all over & knowing that they are all well monitored.

I am thinking a person must be feeling a real need to still harm someone in spite of all that. So someone is either a sick person with desires that crop up at times & can't be overcome (like some serial killlers) or maybe there is a drug abuse component involved.



( I am not adding in how stupid it is to have harmed the daughter of a police officer because he might not have known that fact.)

I know Mushy.....I go to the casinos really late at night alone. Its the surveillance cameras all over that give me some sense of security especially when parking or returning to my car. Gonna have to rethink that maybe...
