I searched NamUs for unidentified white female remains found near trees or wooded areas in San Mateo County. These are the results:

Glad they've identified her, so sad that both her parents JUST died.
Just to give you guys the lay of the land - she was living and shopping in Marin County, which is NORTH of San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge. It sounds like she gave this guy a ride, and they later found her remains SOUTH of San Francisco, somewhere in San Mateo County. I'd love to know exactly where - as soon as I saw this case, I thought of the Gypsy Hill Murders that happened several years previous: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gypsy_Hill_killings
I would really like to know what date the remains were located. Has anyone seen this info?

A convicted felon who was a suspect in the kidnapping and killing of a Swedish exchange student who disappeared in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1982 has long been dead, authorities say.
Henry Lee Coleman died Feb. 5, 1988, a Social Security Administration spokeswoman told The Marin Independent Journal. There was no record on where he died or a cause of death.
