You are welcome

You are welcome and you made me laugh. I too am struggling with the time change and the site color changes.

It’s statistically proven that people are affected by the time change. I saw a great detailed article on it. As to not go off point, I will pm it to you.

As far as the site colors, I had to go back to the original. For my eyes there wasn’t enough contrast and it made my eyes strain.

This case is very interesting and I’m surprised that it doesn’t have more traction on the site. I know the Read trial hearings and Daybell’s are being closely followed though.

Monica’s case is unusual for a few reasons:

A detective did a good job sharing the secret communications between her and Baker. He is a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 star writer

Baker pleaded no contest and is assuming all blame. Not sure why he is protecting Monica when it could possibly affect his sentence to his advantage.

Her attorney is a low life who has bullied witnesses. It was very obvious, so I hope the jury knows what is behind this.

Detective Mitzi is back on
bbm .. I agree, I can't believe this trial is not getting more interest. I was hooked as soon as I watched the opening statement.

Tuned in via my tv, and it's impossible to understand. Sounds like a bunch of demons talking all at once. Sure sounds like more than a couple of people. I'm getting nothing out of listening to this. Please tell me if you figure out what's being said.

Will do. They need to provide a transcript of that to the jury.

I wish it was loud and clear to embarrass her. She is scribbling away as though she is going to refute parts of it.
bbm .. the prosecution handed out transcripts to the jurors before they started playing the audio. I wish we had one to follow along also. lol It was very hard to hear anything other than Monica's heavy breathing and whispering sounds and the toilet flushing everytime they would flush one of the letters down the toilet.

Anna Larsen - Monica's Sister,
& you can see the resemblance.

Right now, California time, I'm watching the trial on Court TV. They covered a different case this morning. Anna Larsen, Defendant's Sister is on the stand testifying on Direct Examination. She is talking about when Monica and Fabio lived in Canada. The sisters would see each other 4+ times per week, spend time together with their children and do things, and go visit their parents. A trip she took with the couple, Anna says Monica and Fabio always seemed happy on the trip and in their home, and on visits after the move.

Panel seems to think Anna is a dream witness as far as being credible, honest, believable. She's giving a favorable view of Monica so far.

Oh boy, she visited and went to play Racquetball with Monica, and she met Robert Baker. This testimony should get interesting now. So far, she says absolutely did not see any affair type behavior between Monica & "Rob". She even played racquetball with Rob, and her boys did too.

1741818627555.webp I might as well get some screen shots. This will be my own take on what I'm hearing while watching the trial.

After Fabio's death, Monica's sister testifies that they had to keep reminding Monica to take care of herself, brush her teeth, get dressed. She wasn't eating much, but was drinking wine and smoking a lot. Anna says they all were., trying to deal with Fabio's death.

Those may be real tears remembering the warm relationships of family, and how good things were. I guess it could be tears grieving after losing her husband. Heck, they could also just be tears for herself and her missing "Rob" or the sex like what she wrote him about.

Oh, so then Rob shows up. They were out on the patio. Debra? is that Monica's mother? said "I don't like that guy". The mother of Monica & Anna went out and asked Rob "Who are you?" He said he was "a friend of Monica's" there to help console her. Monica's Mom wanted him to leave, but he didn't leave. He was cracking a beer open by the firepit.

Asked the detective if it was safe to stay in the house. Detective said it was a robbery and lightning doesn't strike twice usually. Anna says Monica called the detective almost everyday wanting to know if there were developments. Only time Anna heard Monica ask about life insurance was after Luigi got some pay out first.

A month later they went out together for dinner. I don't know where this is going yet.

@Curious Me thanks for the recap. I only saw it for less than 5 minutes today.

The sister seemed like she was all in for Monica’s defense. When anyone says anything positive she doesn’t write in her notebook, instead she gloats.

Those screenshots are great, still no tears in sight. You know if there were real tears she would let them run down her face and on to the notebook for all to see.

I would ask for proof of how Monica was acting after. Who she spoke to, did they eat out or at home, bank debits and whatever else that could be used for verification.

She is deceptive and manipulative. I don’t trust her at all.
