Did Chris ever mention being in a bowling alley parking lot? If he did I don't recall it at all.

The Target parking lot was before the killing, they met up for a few minutes, apparently to firm up the plan, Fabio was killed an hour or so after that.

Baker doesn't want to admit that they met up there because that implicates Monica in the plan to kill Fabio.

This is the first I'm seeing the details of this letter, though I think it's the one the prosecutor mentioned before, that was full of lies and Baker (at some previous point) admitted that.

Thanks for the clarification, @geevee. It's just such an overdone in flourishment letter with "I replied with amazement" and mentioning Monica's "uncanniness". Funny, but not. I could easily believe she dictated it or even wrote it. In any case, that letter is useless clearing Monica being involved. It's such a chilling fact you stated that Fabio was killed about an hour after Monica & Baker meet in that Target parking lot. She supplied details & info, and open doors. Not to mention how heartless it was that Monica is said to have watched the killing on her phone.

Agreed about the over the top style of the letter, I would really like to see an example of his writing before I'd believe he penned this.

Cold and calculating, she deserves the same fate as her killer lover.

I have brain fog from trying to tune in today. At times I had to turn it off. But at this moment I don’t recall Chris saying that.

I don’t think so

I have no idea, today was the first time I've seen any of it displayed.

You can probably rewatch today's testimony about the letter when it's posted in their list of videos. I got some screenshots of the letter posted back thread, see Posts 629,630,642, but it's basically fabrication and lies, and plus, IMO, doesn't do anything to clear Monica. It does more to implicate her as being very involved with Baker, and even on the day of the murder involved in the setup. It's coming down to Austin's testimony against Baker's. I think Austin's testimony made more of an impression on Jurors. He seemed more credible, and maybe more believable. What do you think?

Austin is more credible. To me he is believable and his demeanour appeared to be genuinely remorseful. He was the opposite of Baker.

It was a repetitive slow-go for awhile but getting to the letter tightens it up. He is trying hard to get to her but she isn’t phased.

It was monotonous before she got to the letter. This was on repeat: he would answer a question emphatically then on the next one he said he didn’t remember. One for one over and over.
BBM - I laughed when the prosecutor started mimicking him and repeated his phrase of "Mr Lavine and company" instead of "Mr Lavine and his investigator", and then the Defense complained.

I found Austin very credible, and Baker highly incredible. I expected it would come down to this, Austin vs Baker (as I thought it very unlikely Monica would take the stand) and figure the jury will see it like we do.

Plenty of other evidence to support Monica being the driving cause behind Fabio's murder, the Viber timeline is extremely persuasive, as is the evidence that she was viewing the home security cameras as Fabio was being stabbed to death. And no getting around her behavior after they were arrested and learned Baker's DNA/blood was at the scene, and her ruse to explain that away. Guilty as the day is long, imo.

Yesterday was a weird experience for me in regards to watching a trial, but since then I have found out that it was that way for others too. The monotony was ‘glitchy’ lol. Seriously though my head was hurting. I had to turn the sound off.

Did you notice that Monica didn’t do exaggerated expressions? She furrowed her brows some yesterday but nothing more than that. Someone must have seen all of the online chatter and told her that it wasn’t believable. I was hoping she would continue the nonsense.

I saw her pooch her lips once or twice but yes, much more understated than she had been.

The prosecutor (still don't know their names!) wasn't kidding when she said he'd be on the stand a few days, unfortunately. I hope we see the end of this soon, there doesn't seem to be much if anything more to cover (unless she's got something up her sleeve no one knows anything about).

Juror #2 was removed or let go and replaced by an alternate. No reason given other than the judge saying it was a sad situation.

Was it mentioned how many alternates there are? Just want to up date my notes as I don't have that.

I'm sorry, I have not seen that information anywhere and nothing was mentioned this morning. The judge just said to draw a name from the alternates to replace Juror 2. I will listen again to make sure he didn't mention how many alternates
ETA, I listened again and Judge did not mention how many alternates
