The 7/10/2020 preliminary hearing examination date says off calendar and the next preliminary hearing setting is on calendar for 9/16/2020 at 8:30 am. It doesn’t show a thing in between for now.

@Niner We can always look a few days before 8/19 to see if it magically pops up on calendar. Maybe the sheriff’s office knows more than the court does. I can’t imagine they arbitrarily put down dates

What do you think about the 7/10 date then? But then you said it wasn't on the calendar anymore.
Okay - I shall make a note to see a few days before 8/19 - hopefully, I shall remember!

Edited to add: and probably the sheriff's office would know "when" to move their prisoner....

It has the 7/10 date but says off calendar next to it and rescheduled for 9/16. I have a feeling that 8/19 date will pop up before the actual date.

I was just coming here to update you. The preliminary hearing setting happened yesterday. She goes back on 1/12/2021 at 8:30 am for a trial confirmation hearing and the jury trial begins three days later on 1/15/2021 at 8:30 am. It’s strange as the actual preliminary hearing just disappears and instead they set a jury trial.

It’s strange as the actual preliminary hearing just disappears and instead they set a jury trial.

I've had that happen on some other court sites. Where I'm going - I "know" that hearing was there, but they just disappear them!!

@Niner You are correct. They have a preliminary hearing set on 1/26/21 at 8:30 am in Department 17 and nothing else on the docket.

ETA: They put today’s hearing off calendar and the case is nowhere near being ready for trial according to said docket. They haven’t even had the prelim yet.

So they had the hearing and now have a Preliminary Examination Confirmation Hearing on 2/25/21 at 8:30 am and the actual Preliminary Examination on 2/26/21 at 10:00 am, both in Department 17.
