*Jury Trial Setting Hearing for both (@ 8:30am PT) - CA – Jacob “Cheddar” Sutton-Bubeck (26) (last seen Jan. 25, 2018, reported missing Feb. 10, 2018, last seen Jan. 25, 2018, found Nov. 24, 2018, Modesto) – *Rebecca Marie Garcia (44/now 45) arrested (11/30/18) & arraigned (12/4/18) for murder & conspiracy to commit murder. Plead not guilty. Held without bond.
*Robert “Animal” Wisswell (53/now 54) arrested (11/30/18) & arraigned (12/4/18) for murder & conspiracy to commit murder. Plead not guilty. Held without bond.

12/4/19 Update: Next pretrial hearing on 12/13. 12/13/19 Update: Next Status conference hearing. 1/2/20: Next Preliminary exam hearing on 1/13/20 & 1/14/20. Had a preliminary hearing on 1/2/20.
1/14/20 Update: The two day preliminary examination result was that he was held to answer to count one & two (PC 187(a) F-Murder and PC 29800(a)(1) F-Poss of FI - Possession of firearm by prohibited person). There is an “Arraignment on Information” Hearing set for 2/10/20 for both.
2/10/20 Update: Next jury trial setting hearing on 3/9/20.

@Niner The hearing yesterday for Jury Trial Setting was continued to 3/23/2020 at 8:30 am. I will check back on the 24th to update you.

@Niner All these types of hearings (and most jury trials) have been suspended from March 23 through April 16th. It doesn’t have a new date for the trial setting hearing yet but I will check later this week to see if they have updated the docket.

@Niner I’m okay. Trying to stay that way even though I have to go to the office and end up interacting with people who are out and about from one construction job to another. I feel like spraying them all with Lysol when they walk into my office Hope you’re doing well also!

Anyway, there is a “Setting of Jury Trial” hearing on 5/22/2020 at 8:30 am. I really hope we are back to some semblance of normal by then! Remind me to check the week before to make sure they haven’t moved it again.

@Niner Still on calendar for 5/22 at 8:36 am. I don’t think I have ever seen a hearing time that’s not rounded to the whole or half hour. I’ll check back on the 23rd to update you.

@Niner No updates this morning. I’ll check back each morning until I see that they have updated the website.

@Niner I have been checking the docket for the past few days but there are no updates and it doesn’t even say that the trial hearing on the 22nd was heard. The court is only hearing urgent cases and no jury trials are allowed until after June 15th in the whole state of California. I’ll check back next week to see if they have added any new hearing dates.

@Niner Finally-success! The Setting of Jury Trial hearing on 5/22 was continued on a party’s motion (doesn’t say which party) to 6/26/2020 at 8:30 am. I’ll check back on the 27th to update you.
