I have taken an interest in this case also, along with the Morgan Nick case. What has kept me returning to Michelle Michaud of course is the photo looking EXACTLY like the sketch! Plus, I'm concerned when LE says, "the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has created a timeline tracing Michaud and Daveggio's whereabouts over the 1980s and 1990s and they say the pair could not have abducted Dugard" Uh...Michelle stated that she didn't even meet Deveggio until AFTER the kidnapping, but there is NO WAY in hell Michelle wasn't killing and kidnapping BEFORE she met Deveggio. Have they just looked at where Michelle was during Jaycee's kidnapping?
I don't think it's a stretch to think that the truly evil depravity of Michelle was in full force before she hooked up with Deveggio. I have no doubt that she hooked up with someone BEFORE Delvecchio. What Michaud did to her own female children is so disgusting and that started way before her and Delveggio got together.
I'm just wondering if anyone has heard anything new or if LE has revisited Michelle being involved in this case with someone other than Delvecchio?

Found this "crimeline" for James daveggio who has been bandied about as a possible suspect as a later partner in crime of his, Michelle Michaud, looks EXACTLY like the composite of woman who kidnapped Jaycee..

This crimeline, compiled by the University of Virginias psychology dept states that in May of 1991...james daveggio raped Jaycee Lee Dugard! What? Does anyone know about any of this??

James daveggio is also a dead ringer for the composite in the Morgan Nick case also.

I guess Michelle was in jail for prostitution when Jaycee was kidnapped, the only thing is that some men date women who look the same. Same color hair and eyes. He could of had another woman with him. This is just sick. I pray everyday for the safe return of these lost children.

They don't include Ilene Misheloff in their stats, but they are believed to be her killers. Ilene disappeared from Dublin in 1989, Daveggio was raping and killing in that period and he is listed as having committed killings in Dublin in this .pdf.

I agree that men have a tendency to gravitate towards women that look alike, but I think LE's statement of "Michelle says she didn't even meet james until yada, yada...certainly SHOULDn"T be believed!

Her and James didn't have to be the ones, her and someone else is my guess unless it is a definite that she was in jail at the same time. Anyone that would do the depraved things that Michelle did to her own daughter would certainly be "active" before hooking up with delvecchio...

Still....has anyone found out any more info regarding crimeline stating that James Delvecchio raped Jaycee Dugard? I find that SO bizarre.

If Michelle was with him when Ilene was kidnapped, that was two years before Jaycee, so yes, she is lying.

El Dorado County Sheriff's Department said they will discuss a cold case of a missing 11-year-old girl as part of an ongoing investigation.

Jaycee Lee Dugard was abducted in Meyers near South Lake Tahoe in 1991.

Her father said he saw people in a car kidnap the girl as she walked to her school bus.

As for the Michelle being in jail I saw a time line. Can't remeber were!! That said she was arrested in June on prostitution charges. So I am thinking that she was either in Jail or in that area when Jaycee was taken.

Dugard&#8217;s stepfather -- Carl Probyn &#8211; told KTVU that the girl&#8217;s mother got a stunning phone call at work Wednesday from the FBI.

&#8220;She got a call from the FBI, they said they had found JC and she was alive,&#8221; he said in a phone interview from the couple&#8217;s Riverside County home. &#8220;They put her (the woman) on the phone. My wife talked with her and is convinced she is Jaycee. Jaycee remembers everything.&#8221;

Terry Probyn then called her former husband.

&#8220;My wife called me about 4 and asked me if I was sitting down,&#8221; said Probyn, whose marriage broke up in the wake of the abduction. &#8220;They found Jaycee They found her alive.&#8221;

He added that the FBI also said they had the &#8220;people responsible&#8221; for the abduction. Authorities said they have two people in custody in relation to the case.

Carl Probyn said Terry was enroute to the Bay Area to be reunited with her daughter. Authorities planned a news conference for later in the morning to reveal more details about the case.

The call ended an 18-year nightmare for Dugard.

Jaycee Lee Dugard was kidnapped near South Lake Tahoe in 1991 as she walked to a bus stop. On Wednesday, a woman walked through the front doors of the station in Concord and said she was Jaycee Dugard.

It was not immediately clear what motivated her to come forward now, but today would be Jaycee Dugard's 29th birthday.

Jaycee's mother, Terry Probyn, who currently lives in southern California, is flying up here to meet the woman.

Dugard's stepfather told KCRA Wednesday his wife spoke to the woman and she believes it is her long missing daughter. He said, "Jaycee remembers everything."

Officials said detectives in the case are following up on leads in the Bay area.

"I can't even sleep," Probyn said. "I'm anxious to find out where she's been and what she's been doing."

Probyn said he hopes that this is Jaycee.

"I'm just really thrilled this is coming to an end and excited to find who did this and solve this case," Probyn said.

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Department will hold a news conference at 3 p.m. to talk about the case.
