Trial will start at 9:30PT again today.

It ended yesterday with Michael (Mike, Mikey) McStay, Joey's brother, on the stand yesterday.
They are going to be calling a witness out of order first thing this morning because she is from out of state... I believe one of the reporters tweeted it was the old McStay neighbor that had the surveillance video. Afterwards, Mike will continue with his testimony. I will be surprised if his testimony doesn't take all day, if not longer. He was the first one to enter the house and was up front and center in those early days, weeks, months.

Sorry folks I won’t be covering the #CharlesMerritt murder trial today. So, no live tweets. I’ve been assigned elsewhere. @LawCrimeNetwork will be in the courtroom live-streaming and tweeting.
 
We should link those you-tubes from yesterdays testimony too. I have to leave today to go help my daughter with something and I will be away from the computer.

Here's hoping the state has a stronger day so I can come back and feel more confident about their case. o_O

Man, I've spent hundreds of hours on this case. Driven past the McStay home. Visited the gravesite way back before the arrest - such a creepy experience.

I would NEVER have believed it was Merritt alone who slaughtered this family. Not that he hadn't the capability. Its just that I was sure, with so many greasy characters involved in the picture (and one in particular), that it wasn't Merritt alone.
