CA - Judy Lynn Hayman arrested after 37 years on the run

A fugitive from a Michigan jail has been arrested in San Diego - after 37 years on the run. Judy Lynn Hayman initially gave false ID to officers but one investigator recognised her eyes from the old mugshot.

Hayman had already served 10 months of a 16-24 month sentence when she went AWOL in 1977.

well wait... I thought the same thing at first from the headline. But actually, the San Diego authorities went to an apartment ON A TIP from Michigan LE. She denied being this woman, but they pulled out her old mugshot and compared it to her and said yes, it's you because of the eyes, Paraphasing but that's the jist of it. Can you imagine - 37 years on the run!
