BPD searches for missing at-risk 17-year-old-girl last seen in East Bakersfield

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in finding a missing at-risk runaway 17-year-old girl last seen in east Bakersfield.

Layla White was last seen in the 3500 block of Union Avenue on August 20, 2024.


According to officials, she stands five feet four inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt, gray sweatpants, gray socks, and black slippers.
