Doe Network says the John Doe's eyes were hazel, but Mantheiy had blue eyes. I will make a thread for him.Definitely submit this guy.

According to NamUs, Mantheiy is not this John Doe. He's on the ruleout list.New mp on doenet. I looked at the morgue photo and noticed similarities.
Wow great point good find/connectionSince the body was found in between East Division St. and Cornado.
This made me think back to another incident I read about.
The disappearance of Sherry Jean Pickle in 1972
Sherry Jean Pickle, 15 years old, was last seen at the intersection of Coronado and Broadway only 6 min drive away from this unidentified male on May 16,1972.The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Maybe there's a local that was killing teenagers in that area about that time.
Below is the distance from this unidentified male being found and the last known siting of Sherry Jean Pickle in 1972.
Maybe the killer was offering a ride to both.
Sherry was looking for a ride supposedly and there weren't any traced vehicles to this young man. (From what we've read)
none of the pictures look like the same guy, and they do not look like the autopsy photo.
Totally possible. What if what witnesses said was true? The reports of people seeing him at a gay bar?Let's imagine the time back then. The late 1970s and the stigma of being gay was so HARSH that THAT the fear of backlash and scrutiny might be the reason his family never came forward.
Maybe they felt ashamed. Might've had religious prejudices toward that lifestyle. Maybe they were homophobic and didn't want to be known as the parents of the "dead Gay victim"
Maybe they had read about it in the paper that witnesses said they saw him at a gay bar. If the family was so in denial they might have issues with it, especially if he never CAME OUT to them..
maybe out of respect they didn't want to OUT him in death and change his legacy. My prayers that perhaps the gay community could help with this case if they know anything.
This young man DIDN'T deserve to die. All my prayers to his family.
That's awful.Totally possible.
Even as recently as the 2016 Pulse Orlando club shooting, a father reportedly refused to claim his son's body 'because the son was gay. Because the father was ashamed'. Something similar could be at play here.
Was he not a confirmed Kraft victim and only suspected?
This John Doe's NamUs profile was updated on 6/3/22.
He currently has 20 rule outs listed (with most recent rule out listed first)
