Didn't hear any updates about the recent review hearing yesterday, but hopefully we're moving towards a trial. How I wish Maya would be found. How I wish her Family could get that tiny bit of peace in the midst of so much sorrow LM has caused everyone. How I wish Maya's children could know for sure with no doubt that she loved them so much and didn't leave voluntarily. They need to know the truth, and someday accept the truth about what their father did.

What is wrong with these husbands that can't go through a civilized divorce? It happened again yesterday, in Spring Valley. She filed for divorce and now she's dead, and he's dead, too, and their nine yr. old son has no parents.

Ashley Bird, she was with a customer on a Zoom call. There's no sense starting a thread as there's no mystery or case to follow. I just want to mourn this happening to another woman trying to break free of a marriage that turned bad. Mourn that Maya and Ashley didn't get a chance to start a new chapter.

Since last update, per the ROA-- it appears the GAL filed the March Visits and Therapy Report on 4/16/24, and the Millete Grandparents (Objectors to Petitioner) filed Substitution of Attorney on 4/24/24. The entry is not public but we know they were previously represented by Attorney Bonita Martinez. That's it for the official record and nothing in MSM that I'm aware of.

*Conservatorship case: Next review hearing on 8/12/24.

And this one - Guardianship - next I have a Trial readiness hearing on 8/8/24 @ 1:30pm & trial starting on 8/19/24 @ 9am.

BUT! As my notes say - the judge said a final decision on custody of the children likely will not be made until after Larry's murder trial is concluded.

So - the trial date for Guardianship will probably be changed probably on the 8/8 hearing date to after his murder case on 1/6/25.

@Niner -- a lot of filing activity this month with Guardianship but the notes are sealed/not accessible by public. Maricris has petitioned for an expert witness, filed for an emergency hearing (Motion hearing currently scheduled 9/11/24), and Media coverage denied. Perhaps there is push back with the proposed summer schedule? There are no defects noted in the only Note I can see so I guess we have to wait until something is published. IMO, it seems the Millete grandparents are happy which can't be good for Maricris. JMO
