CA - Sam Haskell, 35, arrested after woman's torso found in a trash bin in Encino LA, Tarzana, wife & two adult family members missing, 8 Nov 2023

TMZ has crystal clear color video of Haskell dumping the bag, and another of the day laborers loading the bags at Haskell's house.

There are two parking lot videos frrm different angles, there are people walking and driving, at the same time he's dumping the bag

At the home, two men are struggling to carry one of the bags - looks like from the garage, down to the curb and into a large box truck.

This could be an arraignment hearing or first appearance - not too sure...

Thank you, I certainly hope the Judge reviews the $2m bond and based on the severity of the violent acts of murder and in abuse of corpse the Judge denies bond especially with him likely performing some portion of the criminal acts while his children were present at home.

I believe the bond was already changed from $2M to no bail as of Friday.

How do we get details of the outcome of the court hearing scheduled for today?

I noticed that on the court site that was posted above - I shall go ahead & change my notes to No bond.
Hopefully a reporter will tweet what is going on in the courtroom... or we just wait until tomorrow for an article.

I do need his case # to be able to see his next court date - so if anyone sees that anywhere - please post it! TIA!

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón today announced the filing of three murder charges against Samuel Haskell in the deaths of his wife, Mei Haskell, 37, and her parents, Gaoshan Li, 72, and Yanxiang Wang, 64, in Tarzana.

“These shocking and gruesome crimes have sent shockwaves through our community. We stand with the victims’ loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time and will do everything in our power to ensure justice is served.,” District Attorney Gascón said. “Our Major Crimes Division will work tirelessly to bring about a prosecution that reflects the severity of this devastating crime.”

Samuel Bond Haskell (dob 04/03/88) is charged in case 23CJFC00013 with three counts of murder.
The special circumstance of multiple murders is also alleged.

Haskell’s arraignment was continued to 12/08/2023 in Division 30 at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center.

The victims, who lived in the Tarzana residence with Haskell and the couple’s three young children, were last seen on or about November 6.

On November 7, Haskell allegedly hired four day-laborers
to take away several heavy black plastic trash bags from his home in Tarzana. One of the laborers opened one of the bags and allegedly observed human body parts. They called 911 and reported the incident.

That same day, Haskell was allegedly observed and photographed a short distance from his home disposing a large trash bag into a dumpster in the 16000 block of Ventura Boulevard.

On November 8, an individual who was looking through the same dumpster found a torso in a trash bag and called 911.

Haskell was arrested on November 8 and is being held on no bail.

If convicted as charged, Haskell will face a maximum sentence of life without the possibility of parole.

The case is being prosecuted by LADA’s Major Crimes Division and is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division.

So he is charged with three counts of murder. Does that mean all the remains have been found (Mei & her parents)?

I wonder what kind of relationship SH has with is parents. (Does anyone know if he has any siblings?)

He had that previous assault incident about 15 years ago (when he would have been in his very early 20s). I also wonder what that case was about.

The neighbors children claim they heard screams the night before the arrest NY Post. I feel so sad for the young boys for what they witnessed.

The neighbor also mention Mei is only child and met Sam at school at CSUN.
That timing doesn't make sense to me. He was arrested on Nov 8 so the night before would be Nov 7, wouldn't it? But the bags were being dumped during the day on Nov 7.
