Circumstances of Disappearance:
Pierre was last seen in Montréal, Québec on September 25, 2013. He was driving a rented 2014 black Jeep Grand Cherokee, accompanied by his dog, a reddish-brown pit bull with a white chest. The vehicle was later located on the corner of Deguire Boulevard and Ashton Street in the Ville Saint-Laurent area of Montréal. Pierre was nowhere to be found and has never been heard from again. He is a diabetic and did not have his medication at the time he went missing.

Investigators believe Pierre's disappearance is connected to another missing man's case, Mohamed Ali Qazi, who vanished around the same time. They are acquaintances that have ties to organized crime and officials believe they met with foul play. Pierre's whereabouts remain unknown.

Salvatore Scoppa, a figurehead of the Montreal mafia, is suspected of knowing much about the double murder of Daniel Pierre and Mohamed Qazi Ali, two men also linked to organized crime. The two men disappeared in Blainville on September 25 and 26, 2013. Police believe they were liquidated by the mafia.

Police now believe their bodies were cut to pieces and they will never be found, but now they know who committed the crime and who commissioned it. It is for this reason that Scoppa and his entourage have been targeted by a series of searches in recent months. The home of Scoppa was visited by investigators on January 17th.

I also read -but didn't include it because I couldn't verify it- that Pierre's pit bull "Leckter" was allegedly found wandering after he disappeared. Left that info out since I couldn't confirm it.
