"Friends have identified the woman killed in Saturday’s house fire that is now being investigated as a homicide, and say her younger sister remains in life-threatening condition.
University of Calgary student Dorsa Dehdari, 22, is one of two people found dead in the family home in the northwest community of Kincora. Friends said the other person killed was her father.... Dorsa’s 16-year-old sister, Dorna Dehdari, survived the blaze and is being treated for her injuries in hospital.
Police said the incident is domestic-related, but could not provide further details Sunday. They said additional information will be released once the autopsies are performed on Monday. Officials said a suspect is not being sought.
Siddiqui said the sisters and their mother were living at the family home and the girl’s parents had begun the process of getting a divorce. Rahad said Dorna spoke to their friend group frequently about the strained relationship she had with her father."
