Police are getting closer to nabbing them all. I fear for Elnaz. If there were people who could crash her over the head with a cast iron frying pan, then there are no limits to their potential for violence.

I'm losing track of all these suspects...

So it appears now, the first of the 3 fake police officers has hopefully been identified, there are two more, probably connected to him. Again, from Toronto.

Meanwhile, the two men who rented the Lexus in Montreal haven't been identified, as far as we know.

I believe the most recent arrest makes it 4 men who physically took part in the Richmond parkade attack. She was lucky to survive that. I doubt those attackers know anything about the kidnapping, but perhaps one of them is talking, leading to the arrest in Vancouver earlier this.week, and perhaps giving more evidence against Lilo.

I wonder how many people actually know where she is, and how likely they'd be to go for the reward.

Whatever Lilo did for a living, to come up with the funds to pay for all these minions, he can't been doing it now, that he's in jail.

I'm glad to see police are, at least, chipping away at the plot.

This is just nuts! EH's car is tracked by her ex ''importer exporter'' b.f., attacked by shadowy men with a frying pan, ''arrested by 3 ''police'' one of whom turns out to be ''an up and coming rapper'', what no partridge in a pear tree?!
imo, speculation.

'The shocking kidnapping of Elnaz Hajtamiri has at times seemed like an enigma wrapped in a riddle.
A heartbreaking mystery with more twists turns and outlandish characters than an Agatha Christie novel.'

'But an investigation that seemed for a long time to be crawling along at a snail’s pace is picking up speed — fast.'
On Wednesday, York Regional Police announced that a fifth man was arrested in connection with an attack on
'Hajtamiri just three weeks before she was snatched. Akash Rana, 25, of Delta, B.C., with aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.'

''Later the same day, OPP detectives announced they had issued an arrest warrant for aspiring Toronto rapper Deshawn “Thorobread” Davis, 35, in connection with the actual kidnapping.
Ironically, one of the compilation albums Davis appeared on was called Canada’s Most Wanted. On his bio, Davis claims he’s from the “Finch West” area.

His debut EP was released in 2018 and is entitled Trust Is A Luxury, apparently paraphrasing a quote from author E.M. Forrester.

HipHopCanada crowed: “As his name is really starting to resonate outside of Toronto’s city limits, budding talent Thorobread has officially pulled the trigger on his new EP, Trust Is A Luxury.”

The EP features 7-tracks and the reviewer gushed “the chemistry is just that rich, and it really adds to the vibe of the EP as a whole.”

HAVE YOU SEEN DESHAWN DAVIS? OPP

Why would so many people (*speculating*) be involved in one persons disappearance? I've counted 9 so far (3 arrested, boyfriend, 2 white guys and 3 others plz correct if wrong). Seems like a lot of help for one person who seemingly had issues with their "intimate partner". Again, JMO.
My count is now up to 11 plus Lilo: another arrest, plus the two private detectives who were watching Elnaz in Wasaga Beach.

It's a harsh comparison, but there's many cases where an ex-boyfriend makes his former girlfriend disappear, without any help at all.

It seems as though, having failed with a 4-person scheme in Elnaz's parkade, he somehow, within a few weeks, found a whole new set of people, who were willing to be even more violent, and do a home invasion disguised as an arrest. (Why bother to pretend it was an arrest, with even, apparently, one guy in uniform? Why bother renting a really nice car? Do up- and-coming rappers refuse to steal a car in order to kidnap someone? Perhaps they refuse to ride in anything but a brand new Lexus. Renting the car may have meant involving 2 more people, presumably with a fake credit card).

If he's done this, I think we could say for certain that Lilo needs to see himself as a master schemer, who makes things happen through hiring minions, and keeps himself from seeming to be involved.

I think the mistake he made was allegedly hiring/talking to the private detective agency. I think he may have believed they wouldn't go to police, but they did. If he was affiliated with some deeply criminal organization, wouldn't someone inside it do the surveillance? Surely only amateurs hire private detectives out of the phone book?

Also, wouldn't Elnaz have told police everything she knew about him, after the first attack? And yet she, her Wasaga Beach relatives, and police, were taken by surprise by her kidnapping.

Surely if she knew how dangerous he/his organization truly was, she'd have done more to evade this ruthless network, than just go stay with nearby relatives.

Just pondering this and hoping there are answers, soon.

Krystal P Lawrence released in Collingwood on bail - arrest related to kidnapping. Mohammad Lilo still in Penetanguishene CBC article about Krystal’s arrest
Welcome to Ws, thank you for the link!

''In a news release issued Friday, Ontario Provincial Police investigators said that on Thursday, 30-year-old Brampton woman Krystal P. Lawrence had been arrested and charged with kidnapping.

Lawrence was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court in Collingwood, Ont. on May 2.''

March 19 2023 rbbm lengthy article.

''One question leaves a damnably blank slot: Where is Elnaz?''
Ontario Provincial Police announced on Friday they arrested one of the alleged participants in the brazen plot. Virtually all the pieces in the puzzle are on the table. They just need to be put together.

Krystal P. Lawrence, 30, of Brampton was arrested Thursday and charged with kidnapping after the OPP released photos of three suspects and a person of interest on Feb. 16 in connection with the kidnapping.''

''Lawrence was released on conditions. For a violent kidnapping. Does this mean she has turned canary and is cooperating with the cops?

''And what of 35-year-old Deshawn Davis of Toronto? Police have issued an arrest warrant for Davis and are continuing to hunt for the final suspect, believed to be hiding in the GTA.''

''And motive has also been elusive. Was it, as it appears, a boyfriend bitter at a romance going south? Or did Elnaz know too much about the theft and illegal export of high-end trucks?
Maybe it was something else.

''OPP Det.-Insp. Martin Graham, the case manager, has shown the strain of the 14-month probe at media briefings as cops released new information.''
Graham told me in January that in more than 30 years of policing in Canada and the U.K. he has never encountered anything like the Elnaz Hajtimiri investigation.''

Anyone with information is asked to call the OPP immediately at 1-888-310-1122 or the dedicated tip line at 1-833-728-3415, or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

It's getting a bit crazy, this whole circle of people! A rapper from Toronto? Really? Something isn't adding up. JMO.
A rapper from Toronto, dressed as a police officer! Did they think her relatives wouldn't call 911, because they were wearing uniforms? Who went to all that trouble of getting them police uniforms? What kind of person comes up with that?

And all this is just up to the point of kidnapping. How many people/what insanity was involved after the kidnapping?

Poor Elnaz, how terrifying.

Police will provide an update on the new suspects on Thursday morning.''

Canada-wide warrants have been issued for Jaspreet Singh and Sukhpreet Singh. YRP/HO

''Police are now looking for 24-year-old Jaspreet Singh of Delta, B.C., and 23-year-old Sukhpreet Singh of Mississauga. Both are facing charges of aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.

Investigators are encouraging the two to seek legal counsel and turn themselves in. Police also reminded the public that anyone who is, or has, assisted the suspects may be subject to criminal charges as well.''

Considering the suspects involved are pretty far flung - British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec, it sounds like the common denominator is the movement of illegal objects, whether that's guns, drugs or theft of high end vehicles which I alluded to many months ago. There's got to be a connection other than ethnicity that ties these people together. And I'm sure it ain't music.

Why on earth would they let someone out on bail if they are being charged with kidnapping? That is a very serious charge.
