CANADA: Luka Rocco Magnotta, wanted for murder and dismemberment

"MONTREAL - Police have received more than 200 tips in their search for murder suspect Luka Magnotta, one of the world's most wanted men in the killing and dismemberment of a Chinese student in a west-end Montreal apartment.

Montreal police Cmdr. Ian Lafreniere said they have never seen such a deluge of evidence and tips for a murder suspect in such a short period of time.

"In less than 12 hours to have photos of the suspect, to have images of the crime, it's very rare, I've never seen that as a police officer, " Lafreniere told reporters, referring to a grisly snuff video believed to have been posted by Magnotta.

But it won't necessarily be a cinch to find the 29-year-old Toronto sex worker, who fancies himself as a slippery figure. He's believed to have written a 2009 blog entitled "How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found" that talks of cutting off friends, travelling by land instead of air and using fake ID.

Lafreniere said Chinese national Jun Lin, 33, was killed on May 24 and that Magnotta flew out of Canada two days later"

LRM is clearly all over YouTube at this very minute and has been for days. There are dozens of videos out there related to Karla Homolka and he continues to comment on them using the same accounts he's been using for years. It almost as if his whole life revolves around his YouTube videos and comments. I strongly suspect he is sitting somewhere right now, not far from where he committed the crime, trolling YouTube and posting comments. As others have noticed, Beavis Butthead is clearly him.

Here's something else I found that's very disturbing. This video was posted over four years ago:

I believe all the comments in that thread are LRM accounts, certainly NotoriousElderly0 is - and he was active today. As one of the accounts mentions, the part at the very end is definitely foreshadowing. I think he has been planning this, very elaborately, for a LONG time.

I am convinced that there are videos out there depicting Luka "performing oral sex on a dead woman laying on a sofa" and "killing a homeless man"; my reasoning is simple: he would target an "easy" victim like a homeless man first to perfect his craft... So f'ing sickening beyond words; this non-human monster needs to be caught!!!

I'm worried that given June is GLBT Pride month, it would be easy for Luka to travel between various cities holding Pride festivals and completely blend into the masses...

It's on Aug 19th. here in Montreal. I think he deserves a special float.

I think these sock puppet comments all around YouTube are actually clues of some sort. Please tell me someone smarter and more resourceful than I is scouring each of these comments and connecting the dots. That Mega Man video and related comments are just plain creepy.

It is very odd that Luka's cannibalistic, sodomizing snuff film skyrocketed to the public eye the same week as we viewed the surveillance video of the Miami causeway cannibal attack; almost as if the Luka film was a way to "one up" the Miami attack...

Never heard of this guy until this crime. I'm sure PETA and some of the other agencies against cruelty to animals have though. They've been following him for 2 years (??)

Is there anyone else here besides myself that remembers this guy? The details in my mind are vague, but I do recall seeing him before and it was a story or something to do with KH years ago. I wish I could remember what it was regarding!! Most likely it was shortly after KH was let out of prison since all the attention was on her.

Also just caught a newsclip on CTV, talking about an interview that CTV had set up with a photographer in Miami who is somehow linked to this case... this photographer has now backed out of the interview since it's been announced that LE is NOT sure LRM is in Europe and he's concerned for his own safety.

May just be misreporting, but this suggests that LE now is not confident that he's overseas.

I think there are "sock puppet" accounts all over the net, not just YT, but FB, forums, etc.....he is trying hard to keep his name, his vids and other stuff out there for everyone to discuss....

And he comes off as a supporter/fan and as one who is "disgusted" by it all....

He seems to pop up under a new name, goes away, pops up under a new name, etc....all over the place.....

Many people are watching this as it happens in various places. Crazy sick who truly is a loser and nobody......even being infamous now...he is a loser.....

So Magnotta was in England last December (2011) where he was interviewed by a reporter in connection with the kitten files. It seems that those files were uploaded while he was in the UK. I'm not sure why there was pressure from the Ontario, or Quebec, Humane Society on the bylaw officers to charge Eric Newman/Luka Magnotta with cruelty to animals when it seems that the files were made and uploaded in the UK.

Of every statement made on this thread, this is the one that needs to be listened to. It's 10 minutes + of...well... I want the kids bedtime to get here because nothing short of a triple shot of Jack is going to get those particular images of my mind. This is not the first recorded murder or mutilation that I have seen, but it is the worst.

I watched without sound, but even then movements are...casual...He's not just dismembering, he's mutilating, but for what it's worth, I do think that this is his first murder. He is extremely, um, curious, almost gleeful when he starts slashing at the victims skin. Entranced, almost. I think I'm going to go take a walk around the block or something. Back in a few. Heed the warning. Don't watch the video.

I disagree and believe that he has killed humans before.

I also believe he spent a number of days editing the video into the final product we've had the unfortunate experience of viewing images that will never leave my memory and have haunted me since I've viewed them...
