Steinbach RCMP looking for missing man | Royal Canadian Mounted Police

On November 27, 2022, at 7:20 pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a missing 29-year-old male from a residence located on Autumnwood Drive in the City of Steinbach.

Ryan Cody Maynard last spoke with a family member on November 20, and was last seen at a home on Cedar Crescent in Steinbach on November 24.

Maynard is described as being 5'11, 165 lbs with brown hair and hazel colored eyes. No clothing description was provided.

At approximately 6 pm, RCMP responded to a report of a body found near a property located off of Hespeler Street.

Police say the deceased has not yet been identified, but it is believed to be related to an ongoing missing person investigation.

This investigation remains ongoing as police await the results of the autopsy.

Steinbach RCMP, along with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, continue to investigate.

Meanwhile, family of Ryan Maynard has been posting on social media that his body has been found. The 29-year-old was last seen on November 20th along Cedar Crescent in Steinbach. Since that time, numerous search parties have been organized in an effort to locate the missing man.''
