Danial Foster doesn't want to accept a subpoena to testify. What's up with him and his wife. She didn't want to be on camera and he doesn't want to testify.
He’s got a puppy in the car!

Judge just worked out with Mr Johnson to testify today, said he was closing on a house & had a puppy in daycare & needed to get back.

Defense had told the judge that he refused to testify.

Is the puppy in daycare or in the witness's car?

Golbricht was also involved in searches of Mark Redwine’s home and vehicle. During one of those searches, she said she found a debit card belonging to Dylan Redwine in a briefcase, as well as an itinerary for his trip to Durango. The boy’s father had previous said he did not have any items belonging to the teenager at his home when he disappeared.

In August 2016, Golbricht said investigators received a tip that Mark Redwine had disposed of multiple items. When law enforcement collected what they threw away, she said they found pictures of Dylan Redwine from when he was 10 to 13 years old, pictures of the boy’s mother and an old driver’s license.

During cross examination, the defense pointed out the fact Golbricht and the team of investigators did not call the coroner after finding human remains on the mountain, and also that they didn’t shut down the area in the vicinity of the search, which is popular for outdoor recreation.

Golbricht said they didn’t call the coroner because they were unsure if what they found belonged to a person, and that shutting down the mountain would only bring people like “moths to a flame” because it was already widely known that this area was a focal point of the search.

I heard "and I got a puppy in the car." He did mention daycare before that though. I think he was saying he couldn't get the dog in daycare so it's in the car?

I'm sure someone at the courthouse would volunteer to puppy sit...

Maybe his wife is in daycare and the puppy is in the car. That would explain a lot with this couple.

He mentioned doggy day care and then said he had a puppy in the car.
Before that he mentioned that he’s been there at court for 3 days and he is closing on a house in another town, Judge asked if he could stick around for 10 minutes or so and they will call him. He seemed cool with that. I think defense was being dramatic about him refusing to comply. imo.

The jury also requested to see the evidence that was displayed on screenand then quickly removed after the defense tantrums. Jury is on to this! They want the distance and measurements. They also asked about the easy access to sites via ATV.

So sorry, it’s Daniel Foster…not Johnson. It’s been another long day!

If I heard correctly, the Fosters recently moved to the area from Louisiana. I'm going to take their knowledge of the wildlife of the area with a grain of salt.

Are the Foster’s there for the defense? Only thing I can say is, I wouldn’t want to be on camera if I had to testify in a murder trial. It’s enough that my name would be out there. (I like my privacy.) MOO

Omg. Do these hikers know what this trial is about and that there’s family in the audience? Found a skull, handed it to my wife.. thought it was kinda neat.
Asked if he thought it was a human skull he said I don’t pay attention to all that, my wife watches true crime.
Have Mercy. Then SHE should have known not to touch it. JMO
