Hearing the description of her current state shattered my heart in a million pieces. I cannot even begin to imagine her pain. I can’t stop hugging my little boy so tight. My eyes and arms and heart cannot soak in enough of him to satiate the fear and sorrow I feel because of all this mom is going through right now.

Aww. Bless your soul. I think a lot of us can relate.

To the poster who is friends with Gannon’s Mom I was going to reply to your post with this info on how to become a verified insider, but it appears your post may have been deleted (or I just can’t find it).

I couldn’t get quoting/copying the official WS post to work (no doubt user error) but here’s info on how to become a Verified Insider at Websleuths. It’s completely confidential. If you have any questions about the pros and cons of becoming one feel free to PM me and I’ll be happy to share my thoughts. (That’s an open invitation for anyone thinking about becoming a VI on any case).

I have not seen a poster here state that they are friends with Gannon's mom, including the deleted post.

It would be great if were true and we had someone posting who is close to the case but I have not seen anyone make that claim.
Unless I'm missing something, which could very well be.

I wasn't clear if it was somebody who had read a lot or was actually close to the family. I did read it and mentally had some factual disputes but I have read so much now that my brain is mulched and I can't find it or remember it...

This "interview" is the very thing that first raised my suspicion of her. I'm not accusing her of anything, but some of the things she has said seem preposterous to me. Perhaps my own personal experience(s) are coming into play?

When my child first went missing (over 20 years ago), I sat in a room with LE for 10 hours straight answering questions, going over timelines, conversations, and events leading up to her abduction. Never once did I feel my rights were being violated. I was offered food, water, restroom and smoke breaks numerous times. I never gave them reason to handcuff or detain me. I just wanted them to help me find my daughter and bring her home. And never, ever, ever have I slammed them publicly for doing their job. It's no secret LE must start with those closest to the missing person, and work their way out. It should be expected.

It is very apparent, IMO, this woman has something to hide. She wants to take the focus off of herself, and try to place blame on LE (or anyone else she can think of) for her actions after Gannon was reported missing. I really don't think this adorable little boy is going to be found across the street in a chimney. She knows where he is. And how he got there. If she doesn't appreciate the entire community accusing her of foul play, perhaps she should consider acting like a woman who loves Gannon and will do anything to bring him home? She doesn't seem very distraught over his disappearance, IMO. And she certainly isn't going to win any popularity contests in that town by lashing out.

If you're reading here, lady- it's time to put Gannon first. He's the one that matters. Not you or your feelings. You're the adult. It's time to start acting like one. Not the spoiled, entitled brat you appear to be. My apologies if this sounds harsh. But, mother to mother- how would you be feeling if it were one of your daughter(s) that were missing under suspicious circumstances?
Amen.

They dont just do that, they are a super fast machine for digging every court record in every single state, all associations and all contacts. I've often heard journos cursing them for getting it first... They're pretty reliable in that regard and those are generally the first questions when something happens.

We are speaking about Heavy.com and its fast facts. And I can assure you there are public documents they didn’t look over. Nowhere does LS actually claim she has a doctorate (instead, she says she’s working on one). It’s true that some of the primary source information is garbled.

Journalists do not always dig around and on this case, there have been a few (relatively minor) misstatements of fact by MSM.

I am just waiting for LE to act and clarify the situation.

True, but as she said it was a result of a contract dispute.
Since she moved she may have just let her license expire instead of taking the steps after the 6 months to renew it. It's not difficult to get licensed in another state. Jmo

It depends. Some states do make it harder than others. For example, one has to take a licensing examination in California. Units are not enough. I’ll try and look into Colorado tomorrow but LS isn’t teaching right now in Colorado (according to MSM). She may need a few more local units or to sit an exam to get licensed.

Lots of people fail the California exam on the first try. You have to wait six months, I believe, to take it again, so that’s not exactly “easy.”

according to heavy.com

‘She completed her doctorate at Liberty University in 2019 in education’

It's possible they found information about her degrees. Other people here found some documents pretty fast so I'm not sure why they couldn't.

At the least, we know she has a teaching degree, however scary that may be. Jmo

I have looked through a lot of public documents on this case. So far, I see that she may have a bachelor’s that enabled her to teach in SC But, again, I don’t think MSM is digging far enough. At all. I’ll contact one of the reporters who is local and see if they’ll take a look at what’s out there (they have not reported on it yet).

My belief is still that they (the two main journalists) went to FB for their info.

We’ve been asked not to talk about her credentials etc., so I’ll just continue to say there’s conflicting info out there (and you can get all the doctorates you want and still not be certified to teach in some states). She appears to be a curriculum specialist (that was reported by MSM too).

I’m just addressing the issue (upthread) where others were discussing what she must be like in classroom. I don’t think she’s in a classroom.

That was a very early article, night of the big presser, far as I remember.

True. But what I mean is that if she had to take PRAXIS ll in one state and passed it and then takes it again for another state it would not be that difficult.
If she already has her Masters and it's not required in Colorado that would also be an advantage.
In NY we need a Masters to teach but in other states it's not required.
If she does have a Masters it likely would not be difficult to complete any coursework she would need in another state.

I think some states even allow out of state licensed teachers to teach temporarily until they become licensed in that state.

She may have been before she got the job writing curriculums, though. Jmo
