No, HH was never charged with anything. IMO, this testimony is all to preface HH as not exactly being a credible witness or implying she's been given favor in exchange for helping the prosecution (if she's called to testify). JMO
I hope she does testify. Did she not notice the ginormous green suitcase missing??

Hot mikes are so awkward to listen to.

Yep, I need to know who brings home rabbits from the county fair to keep as pets!

We are beginning to see the measures LE took to investigate, surveille T in the early days.

There was great frustration at the time as no POI was named and Gannon was still "a missing person".

I'm sure there were others but I specifically recall @MassGuy steadying the course. He called it then. Don't listen to what LE says, watch what they do. Everything they're doing is exactly what you'd expect in a murder investigation.

T sunk her own boat. Suspicious right out of the gate and never let up.

HH coworker (former employer massage envy) Ms. Sanchez on the stand.

Was wondering if it seems to anyone else that they are going alphabetically? Maybe I'm wrong....(calling witnesses)

Option #1 LS answered Gannon's phone and (we don't know the rest but I'll assume it included more lies)
Option #2 LS had someone else answer Gannon's phone and (same as above)

Either way, she LIED about herself and still got the job.

RBBM

Yes, this fact bothers the heck out of me as well.

Unbelievable.

SMH.

JMVHO.

“Hope you don’t think we’re a bunch of murderers.”

Some of my own words as I try to catch this testimony.

Ms. Sanchez is on the witness stand now. She's Janine Sanchez. Lives in Colorado Springs. Knew Harley Hunt, worked at Massage Envy, she's a few years older than her. Both were receptionists. Sent TikToks to each other, but didn't hang out. Asked and she answered that Harley was bubbly, and had a positive personality normally.

At some point did you become aware that her younger brother was missing. Did you remember working with her on January 29th? She doesn't remember, so they're going through the days to help her remember.

Memory refreshed. That was January 29th. She was a little frantic, not herself. Crying, yes. Were you with Harley and picked up Harley's mother at the hospital. Witness was in the front seat. Which hospital? Memorial? She can't remember. How was Harley acting then? Not acting upset, acting normal. Did her demeanor change when her mother got in the car? She says no, but is reminded that she said telling detective then Harley was quieter than normal.

Defendant's demeanor when she got in the car, witness can't describe not knowing LS, so just normal. Letecia for having to stay at her house. Witness is denying remembering things she told the detective back then. (Harley had already asked if she could stay at the witness's house, but then asked if Letecia could also. Why? Harley said didn't feel comfortable staying at her house then. Defendant didn't give a reason. Note, she had talked about the burnt carpet to the witness.)

Witness does remember Letecia saying--
"Hope you don't think we're a bunch of murderers."

This witness is slightly harder work, maybe she needed a little more prep.
It must be so intimidating up there :(

Maybe I watch too much television but do prosecutors not prep each witness? Review questions and refresh their memories for testimony? Many witnesses seem not to recall previous statements. The previous witness was given the wrong report to testify regarding the rental car....

Edited to add: @Kiranerys We must be on the same page :)

Yeah, I think it’s just nerves; it’s about what I’d expect though.

Her testimony furthers the prosecution argument that she was perfectly sane at the time, especially the location services thing.
This woman is evil, immature, and stupid.

But sane.

The next witness called to the stand is Janine Sanchez. In January 2020, she was living in the Lorrison Ranch neighborhood. Sanchez also worked with Harley Hunt, Letecia Stauch’s daughter.

Sanchez said she and Harley picked up Letecia from the hospital on Wednesday, January 29. Sanchez said Letecia got in the car, “just jokingly, she (Letecia) was joking about saying basically, ‘hope you don’t think we’re a bunch of murderers.’”

Sanchez said that Letecia started using Harley’s phone, then Letecia sent a text to her from the back seat, asking if she could stay at Sanchez’s home. Sanchez said she found this weird and strange, because all three of them were in the car together.

Sanchez said, “Harley was just wanting to stay at my house because she didn’t really feel comfortable at her own house. I'm not sure why her mom wanted to stay at my house. With the texting thing, that was kind of odd. So I just let them both stay.”

Hearing testimony currently from Janine Sanchez a former co-worker of Letecia Stauch's daughter. Sanchez stated that on Jan. 29, 2020, that Stauch told her "I hope you don't think we're a bunch of murderers," when the three of them were in the car together.

Additionally, Sanchez stated that Stauch turned off her daughter's location services on her phone while they were in the car together.

Both Stauch and her daughter stayed at Sanchez's house the night of Jan. 29, which Sanchez said was "strange.”

To clarify, Sanchez thought it was strange that specifically Stauch asked to stay at her house. Not Stauch's daughter.

Literally everything she did after the fact pointed to her knowing right from wrong and covering up what she did.

Not today I can’t imagine. I doubt they’d want to break up her testimony with the weekend coming. It does seem like there’s a good chance she’ll be called next week though.
