Call two isn't much better.

Yeah, it was, wasn't it? Except for the speculation about him being abandoned to die of exposure, sold into sex trafficking, or pushed over a cliff.

Poisoning. Stabbing. Blunt force. Gunshot. All were raised at some point or another, and I don't think in a million years we could have guessed 'all of the above'.

I initially did not want to believe she did any harm to Gannon and thought hopefully its a money scheme of some sort because she seemed money hungry to me. I thought some hoax maybe like hiding Gannon someplace saying hes kidnapped. What she did is beyond just killing the boy. I do not understand how the people around her right now listening and hearing what she did are able to keep themselves composed and not try to tear her to pieces.

As with Fear City, deep respect for the folks whose job is to make transcripts that make sense from this garbage. They sound like they're underwater.

Late tweet

During cross examination, Grassel said he doesn't know how the rental van got from South Carolina to Rhode Island, he doesn't know how many people rented the van in that time frame, and doesn't know whose blood was on the mat. The sample was sent to Colorado.

Noted in the chat on RA's channel, it was stated that T prepares herself when her voice or video comes on in court by hiding under her " hair fort". !!!

Pretty spot on

We’re now listening to the two phone calls, where you can hear Letecia describing the situation, saying he went a friend’s house and hasn’t come back, spelling Gannon’s name, giving a description of Gannon, etc.

Oh, and here come the lies about drugs, when she said earlier Gannon never did drugs 'nothing like that, straight A student'.

Today T was working out when Gannon "went missing". Earlier she was "preparing to work out" as one does.

Who saw him last?

I guess me.

Guess so.

Why do 911 calls have the worst audio ever?

Beckel resumed her testimony. Prosecution: “How would you describe the demeanor?” Beckel: “Normally if we had a child of that age who hasn’t run away before, I would expect it to be scared a little more, a little more anxiety.”

Witness: Sgt. Rosario Hubbell - El Paso County PD

Sgt Rosario 'Rocky' Hubbell taking the stand. Looks like he's come straight from the beat. He's wearing a police vest with all the kit attached to it, even the shoulder radio and possibly a bodycam. There's something reflective on his centre torso.

Beckel said the first call to the emergency line came in on January 27, 2020 at 6:55 p.m. The 2nd call to the non-emergency line came in on January 27, 2020 at 7:02 p.m.

Describing the work of Major Crimes. Included cold cases, missing and runaway persons. Latter is how he became involved.

  • #577
I think his body was frozen due to being hidden out in the snow until she retrieved him, and then wrapped in all the blankets and then inside the sealed case, so I'm thinking he wouldn't have started to smell very strongly on the main part of the journey, and maybe not at all.

As sickening as it sounds, if they found his blood in the rental van, he was definitely not still frozen (not completely, anyway) while he was in that van.

ETA - although we still don't know if that was actually Gannon's blood. I expect that testimony is coming.

Describes the scale of it. All of the detectives, not just the four in his unit, were working on this case.

Rosario Hubbell, nickname Rocky, recovering from chest cold, works for El Paso County Sherriff's office. Back in 2020 he was assigned the major crime sargent within the major crimes unit. Became involved in this case. On the 27th he was not aware of Gannon missing, but he became aware of the missing report on the 28th. He was the supervisor throughout that time. They got detectives involved, collecting DNA, etc.,

With an eleven yr. old missing for that length of time, they knew if they didn't do more, it was not going to end well.

Off-topic, but the current testimony brings this to mind.

Does anyone know what happened to that Stauch residence? Did it ever sell to a new owner? I know that I, personally, would have a tough time living in that house knowing what happened there.
