If she worked sex crimes and then had a child ,she probably was aware of the lack of family values and attention that contributes to these crimes. Also a ton of other things she would have faced and saw , I doubt LS did anything other than make this woman damn sure a step mom is not interfering.
I was just adding some levity, suggesting she bailed out after having to deal with this evil, lying child killer.
Sort of like "welp, that'll do it for this career, time to go home".

Yeah, I was startled when Al said he went around gathering up all the guns. I'm thankful he did, but there was a lot in that sentence ...
Yeah, there is a lot in a ton of his sentences
When the judge asks the jurors if they have a question, I’m hoping one will ask if they can convict her now and go home. They must have a horrible headache.
That would lead to a mistrial . I want to know why the guns were not locked and the pills were..I cant reconcile that.

Here's my thing about it being an accident--- she didn't get out the person who was in the fire! She said herself she saw the fire, she went upstairs and told the girls to get in the truck. Theeeennnn she went back down. She said the blankets he was in were on fire. No one sees a child near a fire, goes to wake up kids who are far from the fire, then goes back to check on the child in the fire zone. I am 100% positive. The witch did this on purpose. She thought she could say she tried to save him but she couldn't. And when that evil plan didn't work, she went to evil plan b and c. I think the next plan was overdose. And then she ran out of time and did what the final act was.

All the kids with disabilities she worked with have to be looked at. Any "accidents" need to be investigated.
But it’s a lie.

In the video she posted. No smoke, just her ranting and raving while Gannon cries and pinky swears.

Remember Laina? Laina was in bed asking what’s happening?

She never got anyone out of the house. She never did any of that.

Lying $&?!

I hope this hasn't already been asked... what is the prosecution strategy for playing this entire video? It's boring, off-putting, and isn't really giving anything that they don't already know. Is this typical? Have I missed something?
It is revealing so much about what actually happened. I have learnt so much reading between the lines. But I am so, so tired of listening to her and trying to make sense of what she's saying.

I believe it's to fully demonstrate her state of mind at the time, immediately after she murdered Gannon.
She's claiming insanity and the state is proving her a liar.

Court has resumed for the #LeteciaStauch murder trial. We'll continue watching video of Letecia's interview with detectives on January 29.

Letecia is describing how on Monday, January 27, her and Gannon rode to Petco and he stayed in the car because he wasn’t feeling well. Letecia said he was keeping an eye on him, and she kept walking toward the front of the store to look out the window toward the car.

Letecia said her and Gannon returned home around 2 p.m. She said when she walked inside the home, she heard something downstairs. “I didn’t think anything about it… And the guy was in there. I gave him the code, and it was all my fault… I gave him the code to fix our carpet.”

Letecia said she heard something in the storage closet and, “He was standing in there, and he had on gloves and he had one of the guns. I was terrified, and then he just knocked me down.”

Letecia said she was “crying and freaking out, and blacked out for a little bit.”

Letecia said she couldn’t find Gannon, but the guy was still in the home. She said she went back upstairs. “The reason I sent Laina away is because I wanted her to be safe too.. I sent her on a mission to get the mail. So I just started making up things for Laina to do.”

Letecia admitted to detectives, “I did lie, when they came, I did say Gannon left. He never did, he never left to go play.”

Letecia said she lied about what happened because she didn’t want to face the consequences of it being her fault, and giving the code to “the carpet guy” who went into her home.

She said she was pacing the house questioning what to do. She admitted to the fact she should’ve got on the phone immediately and call 911, but she kept thinking it was all her fault. Letecia said, “In my mind, I thought I could fix this.”

Letecia said when she called 911, “I should’ve told them what really happened.”

Letecia is now describing how she got a rental car from the airport, saying she had a leased car and didn’t want to go over on the mileage as they were driving around searching for Gannon.

Letecia said she parked her car in the short-term parking lot at the airport. She admitted that she told Al, that her car was parked at a local elementary school.

Letecia was asked to describe the burns on Gannon’s arms and where they were. She went over what happened when putting the fire out, that Gannon was asleep but then woke up, and was hanging off the side of the sofa. She said he was alert, saying sorry and he didn’t mean to do it.

During her interview, Letecia is now describing how she met “the carpet guy.” She said she went over to where the new builds were in her community. She said she met a guy named “Eduardo or Edgardo.”

She said she asked if he had the carpet for the home, and he said yes. She said she then gave him the code to the garage and told him the area of where the carpet needed to be fixed downstairs in the home.

Letecia said she had left $50 on the counter and told “the carpet guy” to take that for the job he was doing to fix the carpet.

Letecia was then asked to go into further details about what happened when she got home. Letecia said, “I’m one of those people that tries to not think mental health is always an issue… I’m not going to let that be a stigma that I’m going to have mental health problems”

Letecia began crying with her head in her hands, then said a few times, “I don’t want to dream anymore.” She said she’s trying to block it out, and doesn’t want to be specific. The interview then continues.

Letecia was then asked to describe again what happened when she found the carpet guy in their home. She said the doors to the gun cabinet in her room were open, and she didn’t think much of it.

Letecia said when she was in her room or walking back and forth upstairs, she heard a noise downstairs, and she went downstairs. She said she then put two and two together, that the guy had taken a gun.

LS very reluctant to talk about the assault.

LS is trying to say it's too late to get evidence from her body anymore. Detective assures her it's not and talks her through a SANE exam. Talking about gathering evidence to prosecute him. Nurse talks to you, does paperwork, gets evidence from the exam.

LS is being resistant to giving any more details that she hasn't already.

"I guess maybe I'm thinking you're asking for too much details."

I would guess they have to play it in its entirety so the defence can't claim they left anything out?

I know ,but its a hard job. Emotional and it does hurt more when you have kids. I understand making light of it, it helps us process. I just think the EX LE mom has more on her plate than LS and probably did not make this decision as lightly as ditching having to deal with LS's because the nerve they have. Not trying criticize your post at all. SA crimes do a ton of damage most people see or understand. How do you parent everyday ,when your job is so taxing?

I agree. She is leaving splinters of truth in her lies. I've BBM parts where I think GS was hiding from her.

After petco, headed home. Stopped to get gas somewhere.

One detective has ducked out.

LS is complaining bout her mother and daughter getting death threats. Family back home, people are 'sending people after them'.

Neighbours two doors down, camera footage everyone is saying you don't see anything. 'you will see from out home security we run in, run out, back in' 10 ish to 2 ish.

Both enter through the garage, this is normal. Heard something when they got inside. They guy was in there.

Waterworks again.

Cupboard was open, thought nothing of it, walked downstairs, Gannon was on the sofa. Walked into the storage closest, he was there, was wearing gloves.

Crying, talking about being raped. 'From then on it was a blur. I swear to God I don't know what happened, I really don't.'

Woke up, I couldn't find Gannon, the guy was still in the house, nobody at the front door, couldn't find Gannon, 'didn't want to leave because Gannon was in there'.

Guy has a gun, has Gannon. But lets her go upstairs and respond to the door. It's Little sis, she sends her away on random tasks.

Explaining that she gave him the code, Gannon was lying on the couch and she was crying so hard, and she hit her head so hard. I really don't know... she said.

She said she blacked out. She was out of it for a little bit, and woke up and freaked, couldn't found Gannon, thought he was hiding. Ran up the stairs. She ran back down the stairs, didn't want to scream and run outside. Didn't want to leave and run to the park. Freaking out! Goes upstairs. Thought someone heard something. Need to be as cool as possibly. It was minor Laina.

I sent minor Laina on a mission. I didn't know what to do, I went back downstairs. Why are you doing these things. I don't remember, and then he was on top of me again.

She meaning Letecia.

Note: I'm going to stop because this makes no sense. All in my moo.

"In my mind, I thought I could fix this."

"I was making an irrational decision in an emotional position."

"It was not that easy in the moment because my mind was in so many directions and I thought I could fix it."

"In my brain I thought I got to act soon and by 6, 6:30 I got to make decision because the girls are going to ask where Gannon was because we were going to get sushi."

BOOM.

"The pain was not in the [EDIT: female] parts, it was in your body, like in the struggle, like I was tired."

Killing someone is hard work.

She’s paranoid about possibly having to tell the rape story again to the SANE nurses.

“ I feel like you’re asking for too many details “

  • #1,179
She hit her head a couple of times, and yet when the forensic nurse checked for lumps or bruises there were none on her head, none on her body. Just her hands had small abrasions, and one cut like wound, near the middle finger or her right hand, she said was a dog bite. It's incredible she was raped and only had hand abrasions and wounds.

Or what medication can make it stop? Please.

Right? At this point I'm considering taking off my headphones to listen my kids whining
