When she got ome, LS and Little sis were in the living room, telling her about the fire. LS says candle was knocked over, and that she thought Gannon was playing with his switch without permission.

LS claimed when they were in the street Gannon was screaming that he 'hates his life'. Said that she had never observed this kind of behaviour from Gannon.

On AS getting angry about mess/damage. "Normally, [AS] is not the one who gets upset about things getting messed up."

"Let's go tell Gannon goodnight," said LS. Not something they do. Windows were open. Does not remember if Gannon responded. Cold in the basement. She slept upstairs that night.

LS said, "Gannon's acting weird. I don't know what's wrong with him." "She was scared," HH says.

Slept in AS/LS's bed with LS that night.

Harley says the house felt weird. When asked for clarification, Harley replied that her mom had said that Gannon was acting weird, and says of her mom "she said she was scared". Ugh, sounds like Letitia is again "setting things up".

What do you see in the house when you get home? Mom and Laina upstairs tells Harley about what happened with the fire. Gannon wasn't upstairs at this point. Earlier, right after the fire, she was told that Letecia and children went out to the street, and Gannon had been screaming out in the street,... something about hating his life? (What'd that about? Letecia had told Harley that Gannon was acting weird.)

Harley said it was uncommon for Letecia to say let's go say good-night to Gannon, but that night I guess she did. Letecia mentioned that Gannon was acting weird. That was the last time Harley saw Gannon.

Basement had been aired out after fire. It was cold downstairs in the basement though, and Harley slept upstairs that night. It was colder than the upstairs down in the basement where Gannon was left.

MOO, why leave an injured, scared boy down in the cold basement by himself right after a traumatic fire? ​

Harley and Letecia continued texting about the candle incident. Harley: “How did he knock it over?” Letecia: “He said he must have fell asleep.” Harley: “So it wasn’t knocked over?” Harley: “Yes omg. Can you read. He must have knocked it over while asleep.”

Gannon probably wasn't acting "right". He was injured badly. Potentially concussed.... severe head injury already? For sure burned. He must have been drugged when T made HH say goodnight. That is twisted sick.

This is the part of the testimony that will sink her imo, contradicts every lie LS told about that incident, Al getting mad etc, and we all heard with our own ears that Gannon was in no fit state to be having a tantrum in the street at that point.

Just had my coworker check. Harley Hunt, Letecia Stauch’s daughter, is on the stand.

Back at my desk. Harley is testifying about her mom wanting to move often.

Letecia is sitting in between her lawyers today as her daughter testifies.

Harley says it was her mom's idea to want to move to Colorado. She said there was an incident that had happened but she didn't know too much about it.

Harley talking about living in Colorado "It started to feel like we were family again because everyone was there and we were together."

Harley getting emotional talking about how Letecia and Al would argue while living in Colorado. She says her mom would ask her opinion on it when they would fight. "I just said I don't want to be a part of this.”


Harley is now talking about Jan 26th, 2020. Harley was not supposed to work, but got called in to work at Massage Envy.

Harley said she was supposed to go on a hike that Sunday with her mom, Gannon and Laina but got called into work. Her mom told them they still went and sent her pictures.

Harley was just given a book of text messages between she and her mom #leteciastauch from Jan 25th-Jan 29th, 2020

Jan. 26th, Harley says she is still at work. She's getting text from Letecia telling her that Gannon dropped a candle and it started a fire. Prosecutor is reading a text from Letecia to Harley saying "he is fine, he is scared”

Harley says she was at work, she was confused what was going on and got worried the dogs were set on fire. "None of the texts were really clear, they were confusing at first."

Letecia in text, clarifies that they dogs were okay and that she and Laina grabbed them.

Harley asks Letecia on text what happened with Gannon and the candle.

Letecia had texted Harley that he (Gannon) must have knocked it over while he was asleep unless he was awake and lied. "But he acted sorry for sure.”

Harley says she clocked out between 10 and 10:30 that Sunday night and went home. "I get home and mom and Laina are in the living room and they're telling me about the fire. Gannon wasn't upstairs at this point."

"She had told me the Gannon had been knocked over, she thinks he was playing on his Nintendo and wasn't supposed to be and maybe that's how it got knocked over.”

Letecia told her they had gone outside and she called a firefighter friend to make sure it was safe that they could go back in. "She said that when they were in the street that Gannon was screaming that he hates his life and screaming different things"

Harley said that Gannon doesn't normally say things like that. She didn't think it was a big deal and that Al usually doesn't make big deals out of things.

Harley said she and her mom went downstairs that Sunday night to tell Gannon goodnight. "Not something she'd (Letecia) normally do." They both went down there but Harley didn't go in his room.

Harley said she slept upstairs that night because it was cold downstairs and you could still smell the fumes. Gannon was the only one sleeping in the basement that night. "My mom made the comment Gannon is acting weird, I don't know what's wrong with him.”

Court is taking break until 10:45 am.

In the video the night of the fire Laina is shown in bed asking what’s going on while Leticia is videoing Gannon and going on about selling the couch etc.

The video tells one story while Leticia is telling Harley a whole other story.

Who’s the firefighter friend?

If the neighbour’s video picked up Gannon and LS the next day, did it pick up the dogs, LS, Laina and Gannon outside while firefighter friend is in attendance and Gannon is screaming about his life?

Also firefighter would have treated Gannon for the burns.

It’s a pack of lies. We are never going to get the real story.

Back in court for the beginning of the third week of Letecia Stauch's trial. First witness of the day should be CSPD crime scene investigator Brooke Bell, whose testimony was not finished on Friday. I'll tweet updates here as the day progresses for the @csgazette.

Juror 12, who said she knew one of the witnesses on Friday, has been dismissed by Judge Werner.

Jury is now 17 people with five alternates.

Also prior to Bell being recalled Judge Werner warned Stauch again for her behavior on Friday, where she was seen flipping off people in the courtroom.

Bell's testimony was very short. Next witness for the proseuction is Stauch's daughter, Harley Hunt.

Hunt just testified that she only found out last week that her father died of an overdose. Up until now she had believed her father died during a robbery gone wrong, which is the story her mother had told her about his death, which occurred several years ago.

Hunt is now testifying about how it was a rocky relationship between Al and Letecia Stauch, saying they would argue “often” when they were together. Hunt continued that her mom would often drag her into these arguments to ask for her “opinion” or “thoughts”
