I thought it was kind of funny when the doc called him Jimmy. It made him seem like a little kid. I do wonder why he did that. I can't imagine he would do that without some sort of purpose.

Reviewing this video, Mr. King's statements about them not contesting anything that happened bother me. Sure could have fooled me!

And again, all these arguments about the defense trying to cast blame on the doctors. That is not important here. This is not a civil malpractice suit against the doctors. I think we can all agree he had mental illness. That is not the main issue either. He was able to distinguish right from wrong in his actions, despite his mental illness. That's why we are here. And that's why he belongs in prison or on death row.
 
I don't think that fall was faked. He really did fall hard. But I think that episode was caused by not eating and drinking? The doctors have testified that going without food/drink for days can cause a psychotic break like that.

^^^ Yep..But the fact he sought help and kept returning for sessions..although all the while forming his plan..collecting the tools of his planned destructions..refusing to share information, because he knew it was WRONG, lends to the theory of setting up his Insanity Defence.

JH was not low mentally capable person..in fact had already researched and got involved with PHD work post graduating from his California education..His IQ/grades no doubt extremely high..so can't use excuse of low IQ/mentality at all. He was one step ahead of everyone..didn't have ability to FEEL empathy..(antisocial) nor motivation to alter his trajectory ( NOT Insane) which also fights into the "Schizotypal Personality Disorder" IMO

The Defence wants the jury to believe he was in and out of psychotic State ( I say PFFFFT!!) and psychiatrist's were capable of reading minds..LOL THEY cannot and it's impossible to treat anybody IF the therapists are NOT given accurate and (honest) forthcoming answers..

Their hands are tied in many respects..and Patient (JH) expects these folks to wave a wand and FIX.....HE should no better given his high level deductive reasoning..and ability to research the whole field. It's always based on a 2-way communication..NOT a> give me a pill to cure me..or else :moo:

This is a good summary. And to be realistic, there is no way he could be fixed in 6 visits over , what was it 3 months? Some people are in therapy for years. I'm surprised the prosecution didn't bring that up. No matter how much the defense criticizes the docs, without jh committing fully to the docs, there's no way he'd be 'fixed' in that short of time. The docs weren't even confirmed of a diagnosis yet!
