Members of Sandpoint church continue prayers for Kelsey Berreth
KHQ went to The Sandpoint 7th Day Adventist Church, where the Berreth's attend regularly. A member tell us, the church hasn't stopped praying since the day Kelsey went missing. One church member, who is a close friend of the family, said Kelsey's parents haven't lost faith, but were skeptical of Frazee from the start, describing him as an "odd duck".

He also said her disappearance has shaken the entire community, but no one suspected for a second that she fled on her own. They believe someone must have done this to her.

Mourners hold vigil at Colorado mom's childhood church hours after fiancé's arrest
Churchgoers in Washington state gathered Friday night to remember Colorado mother Kelsey Berreth, hours after her fiancé was arrested and accused of killing her.

Berreth grew up in Moses Lake, Washington, where she worshiped and went to school at Moses Lake Seventh-Day Adventist Church, ABC Spokane affiliate KXLY-TV reported.

Her hometown gathered there Friday night to remember her.

"Everybody is devastated," parishioner SL told KXLY-TV. "We don't know what to do, so we came together to pray for her family tonight so that God would just be with them, comfort them."

"They were just a loving family, and they were an integral part of our church," SL added. "Everybody loved them, and everybody loved Kelsey. We just watched her -- she matured through the years, turned into a beautiful young lady."

Patrick Frazee, fiancé of missing Colorado mom Kelsey Berreth, arrested and booked in her murder
Frazee made his first appearance in court by video Friday afternoon. He was never addressed by the judge directly and could not be seen by reporters in the courtroom. The judge granted the prosecution’s request that Frazee have no contact with any witness or anyone else named in the sealed arrest affidavit, with the exception of his family.

Frazee was the only person arrested in the case as of Friday morning, De Young said, and officials wouldn’t provide any more detail about how they came to the solicitation charge.

Under the solicitation statute, a suspect would not only have discussed committing a crime with another person but would have taken steps to see it through, May said.

“So, it isn’t just a discussion,” the prosecutor said. “You’ve actually done something that shows the firmness of your actions.”

No sign of law enforcement at Berreth or Frazee home one day after murder arrest
Just over 24 hours after law enforcement arrested Patrick Frazee for the murder of his fiancee Kelsey Berreth, his 35-acre ranch seemed to sit empty.

On Saturday morning, the gate along Wildhorn Drive in Florissant, Colorado had two new chains keeping it locked.

Fresh snow showed tire tracks leading up to the gate but never going in.

In Woodland Park, there is no sign of police outside Kelsey Berreth's townhome.

That's a stark difference from just two days prior. FBI evidence teams were seen late Thursday night going in and out her townhome with brown evidence bags lined with red tape.

On Friday morning De Young revealed they found something that makes them believe Berreth is dead.

Usually when a woman goes missing, her fiance or husband makes a big public display of trying to find her (think Scott Peterson or the fictional movie Gone Girl.) Frazee, a Colorado farrier who runs a cattle ranch, was arrested on December 21, 2018 in the slaying of the 29-year-old mother and flight instructor who has been missing since Thanksgiving Day. “#KelseyBerreth case: Patrick Frazee is in custody and at the Teller County Jail,” confirmed the spokesman for the Teller County, Colorado Sheriff’s Department.
