I'm most impressed with the caliber of personnel serving Justice in State of Colorado.

Team Dan May and their strategy handling a no body case has been nothing short of brilliant. And CBI/FBI that interviewed and polygraphed Chris Watts were also individuals to learn from. MOO

I agree.
I'd love to see them flooded with emails and cards applauding their excellent work.

Is it super expensive? Is there bus service?
No not really. $25 to get to the casinos. No idea how to get back in the dark lol

Earlier account of how PF seemed to target women vulnerable to him as far back as 2010 (when he was about 20-21).

Patrick Frazee, suspect in Kelsey Berreth's disappearance, called 'monster' by ex-girlfriend

March 8, 2019

"He is a monster."

Vanessa Curie is talking about her ex-boyfriend, Patrick Frazee — the man at the center of a homicide investigation that has gripped the country.

[...]

"He had no empathy for life," Curie said about Frazee, in an exclusive interview with NBC's "Dateline."

[...]

Curie said she and Frazee started dating in 2010.

"I was attracted to his sharp wit and he had a very explorative mind. He contemplated everything. And he was excellent at reading people," Curie told "Dateline" correspondent Andrea Canning.

But, four months into their relationship, Curie said Frazee started playing mind games on her.

“He began not calling me for days, and then calling me in the middle of the night telling me he had visions of me in a wedding dress. And we'd talk and argue for hours. And we'd end up winding right back into each other.”

[...]

The emotional abuse, as she described it, went on for a year. She said Frazee would put her on a pedestal, then tear her down. But, she said, she continued to be drawn to him.

As their relationship continued, Curie said she observed Frazee, a rancher and popular farrier, hit his dogs.

Curie and Frazee’s on-again, off-again relationship ended in 2014, when Curie said she came across the definition of a psychopath online.

“He fit the bill to a T. And that's when I left him.”

[...]

Kenney allegedly told investigators she helped Frazee clean up the bloody crime scene at Berreth's home and admitted to getting rid of her cellphone in an effort to disrupt the investigation, leaving many to wonder why she helped Frazee.

Curie believes she knows. She thinks Kenney was under his spell, just the way she had once been.

“He's a very, very complicated individual. And he's very, very smart. And, like I said, he can read people really well. And he knew how to press people's buttons.”

Wow! KK’s account is stunningly similar.

It also sounds like did the same thing to Kelsey—well before he killed her.

Some might call that a pattern.

Absolute agree! Incredible team.

I wish we could put the team on a Learjet 85 as a group and bring them all to CT to take on the sad and tragic Dulos case, Fotis Dulos and Michele Troconis and which is another no body case of a missing/presumed deceased mother of 5.

Oh that case is maddening too. How dare he be getting away with this even after his mistress snitched.

With that case, just going round in circles, getting nowhere.

And maybe these are the exception but the fact the KB's case made it to trial in less than a year amazes me.

Ha! Hence the change.

She must think that if she goes by a different last name than what she was charged with, she won’t be a convicted felon.

“I didn’t commit that crime, Krystal Kenney did.”

As that commercial says, “that’s not how it works, that’s not how any of this works.”
It's weird because her young children are most likely going by the last name Lee, like their father.

I would respect her more if she was asking everyone to refer to her maiden name, and leave her children out of this mess. I don't understand why she is insisting on using her 'divorced' last name.

Agree. The time to trial in this case in CO of 1 yr. sets a standard that hard to beat as you point out. Sadly wouldn't happen in CT IMO as it moves at glacial pace (pre global warming), but the team might be able to push things along!
MOO

I almost wish I had not heard all the sordid details this week. I am so disgusted beyond words. To think this person, KK, could have stopped this! Instead of standing up to this manipulative and cruel and, etc., etc., monster she encouraged it by not doing anything! He knew she would clean it up so she made the whole deed easier for him! If detectives had not tracked her down in Idaho she never would have said 1 single thing. JMO.

KK will find a job easier then we think. First, the murder did not take place on her turf. Second, people in her home town will feel sorry for her and give her a job. KK will get something....and maybe contribute to her children’s care. KK sure messed up big time with her family.....

  • #1,257
But do the public want to deal with her? I'd think not.

Yes, in theory it didn't need a bottom at all as its purpose was just to provide a perimeter around what was being burned to enclose the fire.

Listening to the amount of time that fire burned was hard and how PF seemed to stay on top of things by watching the fire too.

Frazee trial: Kenney testifies, details murder cleanup

"...Hoyland then showed Kenney’s phone connecting to various towers between Idaho around 6:30 p.m. Nov. 23 all the way down through Salt Lake City and Grand Junction and into Florissant by 6:30 a.m. Nov. 24. He also showed connections showing her phone leaving the area around 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 24 and arriving back in Idaho around 10:30 a.m. Nov. 25. ...

*

KK left Teller County around 7:30PM. SamK video for day 4 says the same thing. The Florissant tower provides coverage at least 12 miles west of Florissant along Hwy24, past Lake George, before handoff to another tower in Park County, IMO. The FBI expert knows KK was leaving heading west because her phone pinged some tower, eg. she was already gone well west of Florissant by 7:30PM IMO.

On Nov 24, PF's phone was way down pinging west of and on Cripple Creek tower at 5:21PM (call with KK), 5:51PM RTT ping, and at 6:19PM PF's phone was still over 2 miles south of the Florissant tower. PF could not possibly have arrived at the ranchette until 6:30PM, where he sent and received calls until 7:23PM.
(SW18-112, text on page 19, no map)

KK says she took a nap at the ranchette, PF brought her pizza slices, she saw SF1 come out on the porch, the bonfire was raging, PF kept adding materials and accelerants - but the FBI says she was already leaving the area by 7:30PM per the tower records.

What bonfire? How long, what hours, was this bonfire? KK does not appear to have been at the ranchette on the evening of Nov 24 per the FBI expert.

What r we gonna do without Sam today? Lol. he’s been my SOURCE! I still haven’t even listened yet to his recap of yesterday and have blessedly just now caught up on the thread. I will hear the recap on my drive to work in a short while. I heard mention on the thread earlier about Mom testifying and I honestly don’t see one iota of anything coming from that woman. She will cover for PF to her dying day.
