GUILTY CO - Stephanie Roller Bruner, 41, Silverthorne, 22 Nov 2010

I have a picture of what is probably their home. I dont know how to get it here, can I email it to one of you that would know how?

Time for Tim Miller, perhaps...although he can only help if she really did "walk away" on her own...which seems very unlikely to me. I would love to believe one of these husbands one day, but they don't make it easy. They all seem to use the same playbook for their stories to LE...

that's a condo, IIRC...if you search by address you'll find the 334 Willow Lake address also.

The Channel 4 video confirmed the Willow Lake Court address. There is a lot of water right behind their house but I don't know how thick the ice might be this time of year. Obviously they are in the mountains and there is a lot of wilderness area nearby so if she were taken somewhere by car or truck it could be another Josh Powell situation.

I found these of a weird verasaon.com or something like that. Does not tell us much, but we might need it later. Hope not.
Looks like a lot of ski resorts.

Seems strange that the story makes 9news and LE plays it down. Did anyone happen to see an interview with the husband on TV?

Maybe they already see credit card or phone activity.

9news said the husband declined to do an on-camera interview so maybe that's why I haven't seen news vids online.

I think if LE thought she were gone from the area they wouldn't be asking for SAR help...but who knows at this point what LE knows.

I was glad to hear LE may ask the husband to take a LDT - that should help w/ figuring out what's going on.

Active crime scene near home of missing Silverthorne mother Stephanie Roller Bruner

<snip>

SILVERTHORNE - Police are working an active crime scene close to the home of a missing Silverthorne mother of three.

Silverthorne Police began an active crime scene investigation two blocks from the home of 41-year-old Stephanie Roller Bruner around 1 p.m. Friday. They say the crime scene is down a private road. No details were released on what police found.
........................................
About 50 volunteer searchers met at the Silverthorne Town Pavilion on Friday morning and received the last known image of Stephanie - a surveillance photo of her leaving work on Monday -- then began searching. It's the largest contingent of searchers yet.

"We're going to do a more refined search of the area near the house and around that area, including the river," Silverthorne Police Chief Mark Hanschmidt said. "We're going to continue to look for clues, anything that's going to help us with her whereabouts."

Earlier Friday, police do not know if Stephanie Roller Bruner took off on her own, or if something happened to her.

An agent of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation is being sent to Silverthorne "to an active crime scene" near the home of Stephanie Roller, a missing Silverthorne mother of three, according to Lance Clem, spokesman for the CBI.

Roller, 41, was laid off on Oct. 13 from her job with Summit County, according to her family.

Roller's older sister, Ramona Roller said things had been tough for Stephanie in the past six weeks.

On the same day she lost her job, she had a fight with her husband, Dale Bruner, a wildlife photographer, over the disciplining of their three children, said Ramona Roller.
