Well, we seem to only have the Bobcat data up until he leaves Tailwinds on the 9th. I'm sure if we got that data up through Sunday afternoon we'd have more answers.

I think the Bobcat investigation is an embarrassment. They spent a fortune to dig up the rock beach site, twice.

I've always wondered, what if they didn't expand the dig far enough at the rock beach site?

I guess Barry knew she wasn’t coming back when he sold Suzanne’s car two months after she went missing, complete with her sunglasses. Nobody even bothered to do a once over on the car-or maybe it was a gift with purchase.

I was under the impression there was a "pile" of dirt left on the bobcat trailer. Now I see it was spread over an area and not a pile at all. More like some loose gravel.

Could the darkened area on the trailer represent where a large pile of dirt was placed (say as a result of digging a grave and needing a place to put the removed dirt)?
Probably not but just thinking

I just went through everything regarding the Facebook friend requests in the AA, and I am convinced Barry sent those friend requests (a previous post by @sk716 got me thinking about this).

There are two particular points of interest here, that can't be coincidences.

Barry is down by the river when these requests initially go out.

Barry is at a job site then begins heading home about a minute after a Facebook password reset is sent to Suzanne's phone.

Also, we know from the AA that Jeff deleted his Facebook back in 2018, but it's not clear if he reactivated it. Regardless, 3 of those 20 or so friend requests were sent to men named Jeff, but none of them were JL.

Barry had to have known the first name of the man Suzanne was communicating with, and was fishing for the right one.

By friending a bunch of otherwise random people, he would have averted the issue of Suzanne putting the pieces together in regards to what was going on. She would have simply believed she was hacked, as many of the people she friend requested believed.

Also, did we know that this zoo contained bears and coyotes?

Actually, darkened area on trailer probably not from previously placed dirt as a result of removing dirt from a deep dig. I think an elongated pattern would be seen directed toward the back of the trailer as a result of the bed being raised to dump the dirt at a different location.

Good points. Perhaps BM friended a bunch of people other than guys named Jeff in the hope that by friending all of them, a suggestion for friending "the right" Jeff would turn up because "the right" Jeff would already be FB friends with one of them.

When he was talking with LE about SM's secret lover, he asked if SM went to high school with him (he may even have asked if SM dated him in high school, I just can't remember offhand). So that was probably what he thought back in May 2020 when he was doing the "friending" on SM's FB account.

Unless I’m mistaken (and that’s a good possibility lol) we haven’t seen much relating to their financial situation. We know some things, like Suzanne’s inheritance, but we don’t have a complete picture of their finances before and after Suzanne was murdered.

I’m looking forward to seeing exactly what their finances looked like then and now.

Does anyone recall when SM’s sister said she received that lengthy and revealing text from SM? I thought it was Friday morning (5/8). I think it might be around the time the friend requests started to go out. I believe it was SM sending them. IMO

Something I found interesting in the AA is LE thought BM was making “end of life” decisions when he went through court proceedings to sell the properties and house after SM went missing. They thought he was preparing to end his own. IMO

They probably used LiDAR or some sort of sensing device on the pad and selected the location purposefully. The yard runs right down to the river with the exception of a smallish backwash area which is what I assumed MG was raking to make it clean and aesthetic. You can tell by the rock placement they were for abatement during high water most likely. I have to believe that location has been thoroughly looked at, but if not it is winter and the trial starts in just a few months. The new owners were cooperative during the time LE was investigating and I think they also allowed citizen searching when Suzanne’s brother was in town so my guess is they are satisfied the disruptions are over.

Why would that be an embarrassment?

SM was missing, presumed murdered on May 10. The neighbor reported middle of the night heavy machinery activity at the job site of the husband on either May 8 or May 9. A concrete slab was poured the Monday (or was it Tuesday) after SM disappeared - May 11 or 12.

Had they NOT investigated at that time... before the construction continued and the home was occupied... THAT would have been seriously questioned, I would think.

And if any sign of her had been found there, it wouldn't be an embarrassment. But even Barry takes a dig at it. I understand that the evidence went there, but it ended up being a waste of time, energy, and money.

(CR 105 Search)
On May 22, 2020 at approximately 9:05 AM, pursuant to the issuance of a search warrant, search teams along with K-9s and K-9 handlers (Blood Hound Man Trackers, NecroSearch) searched the property at 6962 County Road (CR) 105, a site where Barry had been conducting earth work since April 2020. A local resident had reported heavy machinery being used late at night on Saturday, May 9, 2020. During this search, three K-9s were ran blindly and individually across the property. NecroSearch and the FBI

Evidence Response Team (ERT) worked with CCSO and CBI to remove portions of the poured concrete slab and search through the new construction.

On May 23, 2020, a second excavation was conducted at the property in attempts to find the remains of Suzanne. Results were negative.
...
Barry asked, “Could she be there right now? Absolutely. I don’t understand why they spent $140,000 digging up my job site- if they woulda put that money in the river, cleaning it and making sure the body’s not there, that would’ve been put to good use.” He continued that the neighbor who heard the machine was ninety years old and senile, and the contractor who worked at the job site asserted no work was done recently where the dig occurred. He said the media got a hold of that and “everybody jumped on, beatin’ the freakin’ crap out of me.” (Page 84 of 129)

I don’t think much about their finances will be part of the trial. Investigators told the court their joint assets were at least two million but that was if I recall the only time it came up. I can’t come up with how that knowledge would be used at trial other than as a general nod to motive and Barry’s unwillingness to discuss divorce . The only other thing that comes to mind is if Suzanne’s two private accounts that were uncovered were investigated and then if the dollars were significant defense might use the information in a gone girl type scenario. But I don’t expect much history of what Barry earned, what Suzanne contributed and that sort of detail. But this prosecution so far has not been prototypical so who knows.

LE put this info in the AA.

That video is way too far away for me to say the gravel and dirt weren't there.

Really?

I can see it pretty clearly.

I believe MG said he kept checking his phone and they quit way earlier in the day than she expected.

ETA: Did we stumble onto the trigger?

Barry stalking Suzanne hours before her murder:

Barry claims he and Suzanne had lunch between 11:30 1:30 or so, but there are massive issues.

Suzanne texts JL at 11:42, saying she's all alone. Barry's vehicle and phone put him home more than 10 minutes before that, so he couldn't have entered.

More proof of this comes from Barry's truck data not putting that truck in the driveway, and his phone showing him traveling behind the house. Barry uses the "Turkey excuse here."

More evidence of this lie comes from Barry calling Suzanne minutes after leaving the house, which is odd considering they just spent a couple house together.

Also, they had veggie soup for dinner on the 7th (a little bit of truth in every lie).

Love it! The easier it is for people to see it all laid out, the better.
