Found Deceased CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #73 *ARREST*

So, I’m convinced there’s another vehicle here.

Barry’s truck moved once, but just a ways down the driveway. We haven’t heard any evidence that Barry traveled anywhere until the early morning hours of the 10th.

Defense now recounting the movement of #BarryMorphew truck. Recall-- it was parked in the Morphew driveway from the afternoon of May 9th to early morning May 10th. @KKTV11News

He just has to have dumped Suzanne’s body before heading to Broomfield, but it doesn’t look like he used his truck. Then I remembered this Tweet from Lauren:

On May 7, #BarryMorphew texted a person about getting a new truck. Attempted to call #SuzanneMorphew dad Gene. Also texted George Davis. Mallory was sending pictures of their trip to Utah and also a text that said, "Finally got the job!"

I don’t think he did get a new one, obviously, but I do wonder if he borrowed one to dispose of Suzanne. The reset of his truck doesn’t wipe out the data in the future, yet there’s nothing there.

I think there’s a bombshell coming.

What about SM or MM2 vehicles? Couldn’t he have used one for taking her away from PP Saturday?

Now speaking about the surveillance cameras on Morphew Property. They were installed by the previous owners. The defense is referring to page 97 in the arrest affidavit. They are speaking about missing cords that LE found.

I hear what you're saying. Nobody likes a cheating spouse.

But the most caustic comments came from people who didn't know the situation. And the jurors will have the full picture. I think they will sympathise with her. JMO

ITA, JL isn't on trial here. Suzanne isn't on trial here, she was murdered by BM.

We may not like or agree with their choices, but this is only about BM murdering his 'sweet angel' wife Suzanne. Period.

I think a jury will certainly be able to understand that.

I’m not at all sure what’s up with this. I wanted them all in one place so y’all can help me lol. They say cables were missing and then they say LE found the missing cables ( I wonder where? ), Maybe BM disabled the camera in the garage so he wouldn’t be seen taking the bike out?

I guess the Defense is countering back that only SM DNA on the cables and she’s the one to disable . Maybe so she could steal money from the safe or hide something else to do with another man ??

BM would have gloves on, he is a VFF, and access to Suzannes hands to touch a detached cable or anything else.

FBI Investigator on stand confirms Suzanne would track Barry through his phone and find my phone app. At times, she would tell her lover Barry was coming home so that they could stop talking. Barry would sometimes put his phone on airplane mode so she couldn't track him #9News

#BarryMorphew phone goes into airplane mode at 2:47pm and does not come back out of airplane mode until around 10pm that night. (This is all on May 9th)

This evidence is gold. Suzanne has told people (or a person) this fact before her disappearance - this is knowledge about his M.O., not stated to influence LE or a jury in her own disappearance and murder. It's not LE having tunnel vision - assigning an inculpatory explanation for his phone being in airplane mode for 7 hours while he is having the "perfect" evening at home hiding his location from Suzanne, it's straight from the mouth of the person who lived with it and knew him and his thinking better than anyone else. He just moved his sights from trying to outwit Suzanne to trying to outwit LE. There's no one else with an interest in tracking Barry Morphew.

I don't think she was there on Mothers Day and I am beginning to wonder if she was there on the Saturday. Yes I know a selfie was taken and sent to JL and a request to switch from linked in to Whats app but did JL and SM physically talk or did they just text that day. What I also find interesting is that on the list of 50 things is apparently BM having an affair I find that really hypocritical. I also find the Spy Pen really odd why would SM be so bothered if she herself were having an affair it just doesn't make sense. I realise SM and JL are not on trial but I do find it interesting.

i think something changed in his mind when Suzanne got sick - it was her second time. And BM he started looking around with “what if she doesn’t make it?” eyes. And just at the time when he decided in what way his life would change to the better if she didn’t make it, Suzanne beat cancer. I think to understand what he really wanted, one has to go back to the times of her treatment. To see, whom he was chasing? Younger, fertile, women, or rich widows? I think it was precontemplation phase, but what he, indeed, wanted, we don’t fully know. But we can find out.

I agree. And it makes me so sad to even consider. Can you imagine being diagnosed with cancer 2nd time, worrying about it (and presumably worrying about who will take care of your family if something happened because that’d be my #1 concern), and unbeknownst to you, your husband is praying you die. OMG. So sad.

I think Suzanne was interesting in documenting Barry's affair to "square the books". I think Barry had gaslighted the daughters into believing that he was the victim of a cheating wife and mother....and we know that he was attempting to turn them against her. I think she knew he had cheated at some point...and wanted the daughters to know both parents had compromised the marriage with infidelity. She didn't care about his infidelity beyond getting the facts straight. Barry would be all about "Oh, woe is me....my unfaithful wife doesn't love me any more"....I don't think Suzanne wanted permanent damage to her relationship with her daughters...thats my impression.

Barry surrounded himself with friends and allies right out of the gate....but how many stayed with him as the days went by? I think they started dropping like flies.

This is a MURDER CASE not a DIVORCE CASE. People seem to be confusing the two. If you're getting a divorce, it's not good to have had an affair. The judge may grant you less favorable terms. Unless the jury is made up of a bunch of psychos, they're not going to find Barry not guilty of murder because his wife had an affair. In fact, what better motive for Barry to murder his wife then an affair? Why would the jury let Barry off the hook for a murder if he murdered her? If self-defense is on the table, then maybe a jury would let a murderer off the hook, but there's no self-defense claim being made here. An affair is the worst thing for the defense if the jury follows their instructions and if the jury isn't made up of a bunch of sick creeps that think that an affair justifies murder. It's disturbing that so many people in these comments seem to unconsciously think that an affair is a justification for a "not guilty" verdict. This unconscious bias shows up in the way questions about the case are phrased.

To me I feel like SM DNA being on the cables could mean anything and not necessary that SHE disabled them. Maybe BM disabled them with gloves or used a clothing item to unplug them? Or I wonder where these cables were located. Maybe she touched the cables because she was cleaning and it was dusty in that area.

If these cameras were truly working prior to 05/09-05/10. Maybe LE was able to get into the system and figure out what day and time they were disabled.

Also, I feel like her DNA being on the cables is irrelevant to her missing and the defense is just trying to poke holes. IMO

I agree with you this is a murder case and not a divorce case - I can only speak for myself and not others but to murder someone needs a Motive of some sort and I truly think people are exploring a possible motive/s for murder

I don't recall reading that on the list of 50 things and a search of tweets hasn't thrown it up either. Do you have a link to it please.
