My son's 27 yo friend and his 60 yo mom have it, on home quarantine until March 25th.
He's letting every one know "this is bad!"
"We have been sick for 9 days!!!"
He knows a few unmarried friends, but most of them are married with children and he is saying "keep your kids at home. Please don't spread this!! Believe me when I say you dont want it!"

So phoned the vet this morning,
to arrange a routine pedicure for my black lab.
He's a rite spasmodic idiot when he goes to the vet,
(He gets da crazy eyes, iykwim)
and well known at the clinic,
so usually we arrange as first appointment of the day.

My husband pays the bill first, and then grabs the bucking bronco from the truck, straight through the front doors, into the back of the clinic; a few minutes later, the nail clipping is done and out the door he goes, back in the truck.

Today, K at the vet told me they are only taking priority cases,
but she knows me dog, and she could make a memo for exception,
or she would just call me back in two weeks.

She sounded overwhelmed and afraid.
I said I could wait, phone me back in two
and my hubs and I could try to trim the nails on our own.

So, y'all might what to contact your vet and see what's what.

I am waiting for all commercial air travel in the United States to be shut down, Amtrak, and Greyhound, and any other public transportation provider.

The issue is that TSA workers are covered by a union, same as pilots, flight attendants, Amtrak workers, and flight controllers.

We will probably see this by Friday.

I joined in the "chat" last night w Tricia live . I am truly grateful to have had that outlet. It's something I can't voice to family, I'm afraid they will panic, some won't take seriously. As soon as I typed last word I burst in tears, the pressure build up was released. Every night I go to sleep and morning I awake, I ask myself this can't be happening. But it is. So happy to have "somewhere to go" and get out thoughts.

Please know we are all here for you and we are all going through this terrible crisis together. Don’t be afraid to cry I’ve had a good cry over what is happening and felt better after it.

Mayor Goodman had her chance to make a responsible decision, to close businesses until April 1st, at least. When she didn't provide the leadership, the governor stepped up.

Mayor Goodman has a demonstrated lack of public responsibility to her constituents in Las Vegas.

I am not so sure about this..Florida and S.C. have had sunshine and warmth and the cases keep mounting. Kenya, Sudan and other warm and sunny locations also have increasing case loads.

Louisiana 267 cases, 6 deaths

Getting scary for us in Louisiana. No reported cases yet in Acadiana but not many tested either. Just setup large screening center in Lafayette and is staffed by local hospitals and Acadian Ambulance EMTs. Our local US Congressman made an ignorant video calling our governor’s move to shuttering of businesses a dumb move because it’s only a virus.
