Estranged husband Fotis Dulos & girlfriend Michelle Troconis were just arraigned in connection to the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos. The judge kept both bonds at $500,000 despite requests from their attorneys to lower bond. @News12CT

Just put conditions on any bond release. It must be posted at the courthouse, passports must be surrendered, and both must submit to GPS monitoring. @News12CT

Attorney for Troconis is Andrew Bowman
. He says she will post bond today. Attorney for Fotis Dulos is Gene Riccio. Riccio says he doesn’t think Dulos will post bond today. @News12CT

One another note: case was transferred to Stamford, which is typical for more serious crimes. If Fotis Dulos doesn’t post bond today, he will have to do so at the courthouse in Stamford and there must be a bond hearing there beforehand. @News12CT

Michelle Troconis, the girlfriend of Fotis Dulos, who is also charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence is being represented by Westport Attorney Andrew Bowman. Her parents are in courthouse awaiting her arraignment.

    6:37 AM - 3 Jun 2019 pst

    Dave Altimari‏ @davealtimari
Courtroom cleared of all other cases and both attorneys are back in court so expect arraignment of Dulos and Troconis to begin soon.

    7:48 AM - 3 Jun 2019 pst

    Dave Altimari‏ @davealtimari
Looks like Fotis Dulos will be arraigned first as his attorney Eugene Riccio is at the defense table. Riccio is no stranger to high profile cases he represented Kyle Navin, the Easton man convicted of killing his parents.

In short@court appearance fotis Dulos says nothing snd jusge keeps bond at 500k. Prosecutor tells judge that state “expects more charges to be filed” in this case

    Dave Altimari‏ @davealtimari
Fotis Dulos will likely not make bail today according to his attorney Eugene Riccio. Will be ordered to wear GPS if he does case transferred to Stamford for 6/11

In March 2018, the court denied FD access to the children, saying there was “an immediate and present risk of psychological harm to the children if they have unrestricted and unsupervised contact with the defendant, as well as a risk of physical danger.”

However, the court reversed its decision and found it in the children’s best interest to implement supervised parenting time.

Yay! I made it through the thread change portal.

Was just saying in the last thread that we now know that FD uses Waze to get around (based on the minor Crossing into NY snafu earlier). LE probably already knows this and it may not be significant at all to his whereabouts 23-25th of May but if they didn’t already know and if it winds up being important...good!

Jennifer Dulos case: Search ends at trash plant, Pattis accused of violating court order

A hearing will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Stamford family court at the request of Michael Meehan, a Bridgeport attorney and court-appointed guardian at litem for the five Dulos children.

In a motion filed Monday, Meehan has accused attorney Norm Pattis of violating a court order that sealed a recent custody and psychological evaluation that was done on Fotis and Jennifer Dulos and their five children.

The motion states Pattis, who is representing Fotis Dulos in his criminal and divorce cases, violated the order with statements he’s made to the media.

“As the court is well aware, this is a matter that has received significant public notoriety,” Meehan stated in the motion. “Based upon information and belief, there are quoted statements by Attorney Pattis about the report, which have been disseminated or published in written and electronic form via the media, which if true, are in direct violation of this court’s May 9, 2019 order.”

It said the order was made “to protect the emotional and psychological well being of the minor children.”

Thank you for bringing that over from thread 10. I'll add that this is why JD's attorneys have filed a motion for contempt and sanctions against FD and NP.

I think NP was initially caught off guard with this recent discovery. He was first quoted only stating that his client is presumed innocent and then issues the statement about taking a drive on a country road.

For those of you who haven’t read about all of the custody filings this is a very comprehensive article and had details I hadn’t read about before. It’s timeline centric mostly and a fairly quick read. I posted it in the last thread but it’s worth a few minutes of your time, IMO. You truly see the type of person FD is when you read it. It’s hard because honestly, you can see what is building and how much danger JD was in.
    ——————————————-
“He also attempted to minimize the significance of the interaction that weekend [of Nov. 11, 2017] because the court’s order prohibiting contact was modified just a few days later, on Nov. 14, 2017,” Heller wrote.

According to Heller’s memo, Fotis Dulos had repeatedly asked the children to lie “to achieve his personal goals.”
Accusations of Threats, Lying, Manipulation in Missing New Canaan Woman’s Divorce Case

    ———————-
It also says FD admits JD didn’t say she would have the “Mafia break his dads (FD) legs” just that JD “could have” said it. Big difference. FD and NP are a perfect pair and I am glad NPs big mouth and publicity run the past few days may get him in trouble with the court. I don’t care if there is some ultimate strategy behind what he said this weekend or not. I hope NPs big mouth only hurts their position via custody/divorce case

Exactly, there seems to be no good reason -- it seems like testing of boundaries regardless of whether FD 'realized' beforehand he was leaving the State and it was 'just a few miles'. I'm getting the feeling that there is controlled chaos surrounding FD being 'on the loose', and hope the minute he crossed the border he was popped by LE as they continue to 'follow his movements', and that was the source.

I'm a local. If he took 84 to Danbury and then made his way through Ridgefield it's definitely feasible. If IIRC Waze doesn't always make it obvious where the state lines are on back country roads.
