You mean at the back? That's a screw back earring you literary screw that part onto your earlobe. That was a good idea to do screengrabs from the documentary @Daphne1972
I think she looks more "late 1960s" in the screengrab, especially her hairstyle, the way it is curled and slips upright. (I had not seen this exact image previously) Possibly even mid 60s. The poet shirt/Mexican shirt was a trend too then, I believe.
One thing about the earring. There does seem to be a loop/wire/something if you increase it and look. It isn't a typical straight post. See?

I know what you mean. But too me she's not serene as such but seemingly sedated. In the most tranquil (earliest?) shot, her expression is serene, her blouse is unrumpled, and her neck has no red stripes. Later, something has happened.
The earring looks a bit squashed. She looks as if she's going to pass out. Too much whites of the eye showing under her irises.Yes,I understand the screw back, I'm just curious about the curve of it. I will try to find something similar to show you.
I agree with you Daphne that she does not seem serene exactly. Something is a bit off about that photo to me. Maybe it is supposed to be a seductive pose, or maybe he just said something awful to her, I can't tell which but I personally find it a bit ....something? Maybe I'm reading into it, and she's just sitting there. Totally possible, of course!
Yeah most probably Hispanic.Trying to get her shirt white and earrings silver, which is what I believe they would have been originally? The type of shirt she is wearing looks like it would be white. This edit definitely feels a bit exaggerated, but I also can see where she may be Hispanic (or Native American?). Just a theory. View attachment 352537
I have no idea what's that in her hair. Can't figure it out. Maybe to something to keep her hair together.View attachment 352531
(I played around with the color settings to bring into focus, so her hair and skin are probably not quite this dark)
Glad I saw these posts because I said something about these weird marks on this girl's neck on another thread and someone said it was just hair shadows. I mean, maybe? I thought they were scars when I zoomed in. Burns, blood? I'm wondering if she wasn't so heavily drugged that she'd have been oblivious to pain. And shocking with SKs in this era was "a thing." I've wondered if he wasn't actually electrically shocking them. Far-fetched, yeah, understood. In the most tranquil (earliest?) shot, her expression is serene, her blouse is unrumpled, and her neck has no red stripes. Later, something has happened.
IIRC some of his victims were choked several times before he finally killed them. This would produce plural ligature marks, which is what my fervid, fetid imagination sees here. But I can’t really tell.Glad I saw these posts because I said something about these weird marks on this girl's neck on another thread and someone said it was just hair shadows. I mean, maybe? Also, in some of these images of his, he has "some" of the people at "some" points wearing a scapular. The scapular is in certain shots for certain individuals and then disappears in other shots. Either all these people are wearing scapulars and he tells them to remove them (?) or he's giving them a scapular to use in the shots. They're of religious significance and specific to the individual, so that's-- pretty weird if he's doing it. But I mean, he's... bizarre and twisted beyond belief, so... I've guessed that particularly where you see the scapular, that's probably a victim.
This is jmo, but nothing with this particular SK could ever be "far-fetched." He's a raving lunatic. They all are imo, but this one especially so. I remember hearing some kind of presentation that went into graphic detail about what he did in terms of torture, and I mean really, really graphic detail. I'm not particularly squeamish, but even I finally had to turn it off. I'm delighted I found this thread because it looks like there's a lot of background for him on here. Also, I know people have trouble tracking him in terms of his timeline, which is understandable considering he's in jail so often. This link might help with that:IIRC some of his victims were choked several times before he finally killed them. That’s one of the better ones. There’s a thread on this forum devoted to timelines for him. He had an erratic path to say the very least. This is jmo, but nothing with this particular SK could ever be "far-fetched." He's a raving lunatic. They all are imo, but this one especially so. Someone from Radford University put this together.
