CT police search for missing South Windsor woman | fox61.com

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. — South Windsor police are looking for a woman who was last heard from in Washington D.C., according to her family.

Police said 46-year-old Lameisha Sherman had previous addresses in South Windsor and Middletown. She left the state, heading for North Carolina in August. From there, police said she then traveled to Washington D.C.

Police said Sherman has undiagnosed paranoia and sometimes does not cooperate with providing police with her information.

Officials ask if you know of Sherman's whereabouts to call them at 860-644-2551.

I guess this prior arrest is an example of that (BBM):

According to the police report in Sherman’s arrest, an officer on Dec. 27 went to the Caesar Drive neighborhood to investigate a theft complaint after a woman accused Sherman of taking mail out of her mailbox. There, police spoke to a neighbor who said she has seen Sherman taking mail from one of her neighbor’s mailboxes multiple times and recently got a photo of her doing it, the report said.

An officer then went to Sherman’s home and knocked on the door, but she allegedly ignored police and was seen sitting on the couch by the officer.

Shortly thereafter, Sherman’s daughter came outside to talk with police. Sherman then came outside and, as she did, a neighbor got into her car and began to leave. According to police, Sherman ran up to the vehicle and started pounding her fists on it.

An officer then approached Sherman and attempted to restrain her, but she allegedly resisted and had to be brought down the ground before she was arrested.

I hope she's found safe and gets the help she seems to need. If the paranoia causes her to behave oddly and irrationally with LE, I would imagine she also has episodes with others, perhaps strangers that might take it personally and react with violence.
