She is such a young looking 20 year old. Other then her "seductive" pose, she could pass for 13. Being so tiny may help people remember seeing her.

Oh no, not another missing young woman. I, too, wonder about the mention of the boyfriend. Did someone else report last seeing them together, or did he tell LE he was with her before she went missing? I hope she turns up safe--perhaps off with a friend. But, the missing work part is worrisome.

I wonder whether the boyfriend is missing too?

Per the article below, the boyfriend has not been reported as missing at this time, but seems LE hasn't been able to make contact with him either. Despite not being reported missing, they are still looking for him. (bbm)

According to Cpl. Hoffman police Tuesday afternoon, “Mr. Johnson is not technically reported as missing at the present time. However, we have been unable to make contact with either person. Mr. Johnson is also being sought at this time despite that he has not been ‘reported missing.'”

Ms. Baker-Griffin and Mr. Johnson’s well being were a concern for all connected to her, police said.

“Anytime there is prolonged, unexplained, and unexpected absence without communication, or reporting for normal activities such as employment, there is concern for the parties involved,” Cpl. Hoffman said. “This case has presented all of these factors which is cause for concern for both parties.”

Based on a lack of “solid evidence” there was no way to determine whether Ms. Baker-Griffin’s absence was voluntary or involuntary, police said.

“It is safe to say that the unexpected absence and lack of communication is unusual according to the family as well,” Cpl. Hoffman said.

UPDATE:
On Thursday, November 15th, detectives from the Dover Police Department located the vehicle belonging to Dishiem Johnson in the parking lot of 155 S. West Street in Camden, Delaware. Based on the vehicle’s location and further investigation into that location, detectives learned that Johnson was possibly residing in an apartment in that area.

Detectives made entry into the apartment and discovered both Ahyanna Baker-Griffin and Dishiem Johnson deceased inside the apartment as the result of apparent gunshot wounds. Based on preliminary evidence, the case appears to be the result of a murder-suicide where Dishiem Johnson may have taken his own life following the murder of Ahyanna Baker-Griffin. The final determination on manner of death will be made by the Delaware Division of Forensic Science Office of the Medical Examiner.

The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information that may assist detectives is encouraged to call 302-736-7111.
